It's more than likely coming from the air box The crank case breather goes into the air box then will drain out to that pipe Pretty normal and with higher mileage you will get more pressure in the crank case which will push a bit more oil out Might be worth stripping and cleaning the air box

Teach him the difference between people who are happy for him and people who don't like it Then for that latter teach him how to show them the bird The only thing I will say is lose the harness! If the inevitable does happen then you don't want to be tied together Get a headset so you are in communication

Simply put you need to take it from the battery as any other wiring may not be big enough to take the load and could pop a fuse

I have had LED before just not on this bike They have improved a lot in recent years The issue used to be that the "filament" was in the wrong position on LED's which caused stray lighting but that has now been resolved by positioning it the same as what a Halogen bulb would be so the beam pattern is exactly the same my advice is if you want more light then go for it just do not buy cheap

It's started again - bikes are coming out of garages.

I went out the other day and was overtaken by "the fast boys" It was a dangerous overtake then they continued to overtake approaching bends and with oncoming cars! Few miles down the road in the bendy stuff I caught them up and overtook them! As my mate always says! You can look as though you're fast if you ride dangerously enough! I'm guessing it was their first ride since last year -
Over the weekend I fitted some LED bulbs! Lots of parts to remove to get the headlight off and bloody hard work getting everything inside the headlight! I must say the way the bmw fairing fits is a bloody work of art!

I got a full PPF kit for the RT its not cheap but its very good stuff and extremely tough Its also hard to see when fitted they also sell them in separate parts if needed https://tonyjamesdesigns.com/ Drop them a message and see what they say

Keep it! Noise emissions are only going to be tightened up and you may well need it for MOT time

This is exactly how I do them! it works

Not sure where you got that from It's general chat so talk about what you like in here Do you have to swim to it? Get a lift? or row?

This! I have had a tub for the last 20 years! still half full as you don't need a lot and do my gear 2 or 3 times a year https://www.amazon.co.uk/Renapur-Leather-Balsam -
If you are thinking of replacing it rather than spending £1800 on suspension then you have the answer there! Get some test rides in and that will probably make your mind up

Just got back from a ride which we set off straight after work at 5pm! Lovely to start but temp soon dropped meaning the heated gear was on For some reason I couldn't keep warm! Still a decent 130 mile trip after work across in to Lincolnshire and back

I had a packtalk bold for 5 years then upgraded to the edge In that time I have probably covered in excess of 40k with various other riders and pillions etc Never have any drop outs and no issues with connecting back up unless one of them has been messing around with theirs then I had to add them back to group Suffering tinnitus and a bit of deafness I also got custom earplugs with in built speakers and the sound quality is amazing with the volume at its lowest even at silly speeds Phone call quality is good as is music and sat nav too I still have a set of packtalk bold that I'm will to sell for a good price if you're interested

Happy birthday have a good one

You need to Google centistokes when it comes to fork oil and the weight The same weight oils can behave differently depending on the centistokes value which is the viscosity of the oil A higher weight oil can have less viscosity and be worse than what you have

Went out in a lot of wet and stayed in wet all day despite a weather forecast for some sun Not a bad ride but the bike is grafted now! Looks like I have ridden through a field Only went as far as York to pic a bike up with a mate but covered 200 miles

I wasn't really a fan of pondarosa! Good roads round there but the canteen style and mediocre food would have put a lot of people off! If I lived in the area I probably wouldn't bother going but the once a year we headed to Wales it was OK for a stop off Although it was always busy every time we was there

They aren't the best in slow traffic due to the two big cylinders going too slow My RT is the same! they like to be revving to keep them smooth They can be a right pain in the arse if the throttle bodies aren't balanced up properly and a lot of places don't know how to do them correctly either The TL benefitted massively from having a power commander fitted even with just a stock base map loaded on it! it smoothed the throttle out no end but then dynojet started by creating the power commander for the TL1000 so solve the fuelling issues out on them The Vstrom is miles ahead on the fuelling side of things compared to the TL though but it will probably be running lean for emissions standards at low revs like every bike does

I used to have the TL1000s and the engine is the same but with tweaks to make it better as is the gearbox its a bit more detuned that the TL I wouldn't say the gearbox was sloppy as such but could feel a bit vague at time on the clutch due the the suzuki back torque limiter (slipper clutch) the solution to this was welding the clutch centre to eliminate the back torque limiter and improving feel and clamping pressure. totally not needed on the Vstrom Once going clutchless upshifts where fine but it takes some getting used to with the big twin under you! they like to be ridden in a gear lower in traffic than say your zzr would need to be! The changing fluid and cleaning the clutch actuating shaft has been a long term issue I used to keep on top of mine and change it every 6 months or so These are fantastic engines with a decent box that are bulletproof maybe try and find another one to ride to see how that feels it could just be a simple thing as not used to it and lack of feel with your boots etc
