  1. I wonder if this will give everyone else a kick up the rear to start building these little pocket rockets again! Could probably see a few decent race bikes out of them too
  2. Personally I would rather go with the rebuild purely because of the questionable quality that comes from China
  3. Hi and welcome to the forum There never was a category allowing you to ride a 125 with L plates forever To ride a 125 on L's you need to do a CBT and its actually ridden on your provisional To not have to do the CBT you would have to do some form of test to give you the full licence
  4. Went for a ride today roads was full of crap! gave it a wash and put it away again till it gets better The new brake and clutch levers are great! I now have so much more control on the clutch now I can adjust it to my needs
  5. It was me Thought it might be good for entertainment

    New to everything!

Hi and welcome to the forum At the age of 25 you can go straight for the A category allowing you to ride any bike and its pretty much the same test
  7. Ideally your bike in the pick but some you can't get to on bike so your sign and number is enough for us
  8. How so? There is nothing to win its just for fun and to get out and about and ride the bike so the only thing people would be cheating is themselves Should maybe start charging £5 entry and make it a competition and the winner takes all
  9. Hi and welcome to the forum What you looking at buying?
  10. That would have been embarrassing at the dealer
  11. Saved it without dramas well done
  12. Thats normal and what my RT shows on the dash while running then with all the heated shit on it might drop to 14.2v which is plenty Sounds like it could be a duff battery as the charging system looks to be working fine When I turn mine on it saps a lot of power while everything starts up and yours will be the same so I would stick the ignition on and wait a few seconds for the system voltage to stabilise then hit the starter
  13. No the alarm system has a back up battery inside it these fail and can produce the same fault
  14. Hi and welcome I think this is caused by a flat battery in the alarm system (dwa)

    Hello Everyone!

Hi and welcome to the forum
  16. Beggars can't be choosers I suppose.......
  17. I wouldn't worry If we do have one it usually entails turning up Friday and getting pissed all weekend We do a rideout on the Saturday but there is no pressure to go out its mainly all about the social aspect rather than riding around
  18. The trouble is actually finding something that will meet all the needs! its so hard to find a place that has B&B's camping and a pub too!
  19. Also replaced this seal on one of the head covers This is a seal where the bold goes through and on the other side is plenty of oil waiting to piss out! I don't know how it was actually sealing to be honest
  20. New spark plugs and air filter fitted all the fairing put back on fog lights fitted Fault codes read and cleared as I had the ignition on with some things not connected only to find one of the codes wouldn't clear! it was reporting it in German which I didn't realise at first and the German language made it sound really serious! It was in the body control module on the LIN line which is part of the CANBUS system So fairings back off again The I noticed my fog lights wasn't working! plugged the wiring in properly and the fault code cleared and the lights worked Runs a dream and a little smoother
  21. Trying to look at venues for a rally if you would be willing to come along what sort of accommodation would you prefer?
  22. Replace them with a small compressor if you have the space as the C02 cartridges aren't that great! it takes around 4 to get around 25-30 psi in the rear but once they are gone they are gone and no help wit a slow puncture at least with a compressor you can get the correct pressure and keep topping up if need be
