  6. I've got it in the car came free with the tyres My brother is a tyre fitter and says it does hold pressures better and doesn't leak out as easy as air. He runs it in his bike and over the past year has only topped the pressures up twice!
  7. There's only one way the air will come out that's why you have bleed nipples the air will always get stuck somewhere trust me I have done hundreds of brake systems from cars to bikes
  8. I think the 520 would be too big actually I'm sure they use a 520 on some 600cc bikes! If your unsure buy the correct size for your bike
  9. Have you got a new front one to go on too? If so it sounds as if they have been bought as a kit I would fit them
  10. Holding the lever back is a myth how can air escape out of a sealed system? If the air could come out so would the fluid and you wouldn't have any brakes

    Try machine mart look out for their pro tool range with lifetime warrantee I use a lot of their stuff and its good I have a lot of halfords too same again look for the pro range You will need two sets of combination spanners so you have two of of each size one for each side of the nut and bolt a decent set of Allen keys a good socket set screwdrivers feeler gauges pliers oil filter removal tools The list could go on forever
  12. Foot pump for a tenner from Halfords? You can use it on the car too, just like I do! (double bonus!) that's still not free!
  13. Yes you can do that but it doesn't get all the air out its ideal for filling the lines when you change them

  18. the exhaust will pull it in and push it out the end it will flake eventually ask craig what happens to it he tried a repair before i looked at welding his for him and it just fell out within a few mins
  19. time for a new chain and sprockets by the sounds of it and time to start learning to check things the last thing you want is a chain wrapped around your leg it will take it off
  20. No gungum is crap it shrinks and will just fall out it will also crack over time too

  23. Yes don't drop it and yet won't need to replace them It's as easy as you say really the hardest part is the electrical connectors some are a pain to get undone

    but you swear they are fine yes maybe if you live in a village where there is one MOT test centre they might have the monopoly in that village but you could easily ride your bike to another test centre
