    Big Trip Tyres

I have used all of the Pilot Road range with great success! excellent grip wet or dry and good wear rate too As for slime its a massive no from me! this stuff will corrode alloy over time as I have found out the hard way! granted you probably won't be leaving it in the tyres that long and a lot of tyre fitters will refuse to change your tyres if you too
  4. Yet when you just go for a browse they are pushy as hell and trying to get you to buy a bike

    Mr

But thats the point The cones are your solid white line that you do not cross which the rider never did Also watching the video again you can clearly see the copper hanging over to the right Looking ahead there is a wagon that has about the same space as the copper has on his right hand side Plenty of room to go past and I bet 95% of cars and wagons would move over for you We have some roadworks here at the min thats slowed to 30mph in a 60 then goes in to a 40 but its been narrowed off and is pretty tight I point blank refuse to try and filter down there due to how tight it is no matter how much it queues

    Mr

But whats unsafe about filtering down one lane where there is room when your not encroaching in to the coned off area? he's not speeding and was taking it steady It was clearly angry plod being jealous

    Mr

You are clutching at straws there! where in that video is the officer regulating traffic in the road? He's not! he is driving in it like everyone else and has nothing to do with what is going on If there was an accident and he was directing traffic out of a lane I would agree with you but he isn't Its clearly an abuse of power! there is nothing wrong with filtering in that and I would have carried on That was just an abuse of power full stop! his attitude said it all
  8. Stu

    Mr

Its irrelevant to the post! where does it say the biker was requested to stop by the police?
  9. Stu

    Mr

Just like your quote of the law then as it means nothing without the video showing mr officer requesting him to stop
  10. Stu

    Mr

because it says so in the first post
  11. Stu

    Mr

He didn't ask him to stop he told him to stop filtering by the sounds of it for no good reason too Be nice if we could see the video
  12. Be easy with the right tools But I bet the right tools aren't cheap!!
  13. I will repeat Do it
  14. Just do it!
  15. You will be surprised at dealer servicing costs on a bmw! I was especially with how thorough they are A minor service was £135 a major was about £250 from memory and a valve check I never found out But have heard of prices varying from £350 to £500 depending on what else needed doing at the same time as the valve check
  16. Yes I carry a kit with me everywhere I go with a small compressor that plugs in to the optimate lead I bought the stop and go kit on recommendation that its the best! I then read an article that said to learn how to use it before getting stranded and having to learn at the side of the road which makes sense I gave it a bash and it was a pain in the arse to use so I bought the type with the bacon strips which are far easier Hopefully its never needed
  17. Probably me that has to do it
  18. Unfortunately not! A lot of people changed within bikesure who dealt with affiliates and we seemed to be getting lost! I was finding it difficult to keep track of new policies and we very rarely getting any commision so I ditched it
  19. It's all to do with battery voltages if you hit that starter too early while doing its checks if you hit the starter too early then it will cause low voltage and bring up errors
  20. possibly! you never know these days! without knowing what had actually failed it would be hard to say what the cause was
  21. Thats why we keep you............
  22. Its probably due to weight saving seen as though its one of their marketing ploys about the 1300GS
  23. MRA all the way these days I have the gold membership and the navigation app just in case the Garmin fails The route planning on a mobile device has just got a lot easier and simpler than it used to be
  24. Bugger! pretty rare for those to go pop to be fair Although the other week I had an engine management light come on when I started the bike up on the way back from Wales! turned her off and restarted and it went stayed off I plugged it in when I get home and read the diagnostic codes and the bike failed to read to position of both of the throttle bodies! I think I hit the starter too quick once turning the ignition on and interrupted the startup sequence its been fine since
  25. @Steve_M but of a shitter for the holiday but glad its sorted What was the issue with it in the end?
