Ditto except 2 yrs no claims in March - and Ollie just reminded me I could trade in my bike against another one which I for some reason totally forgot I could do! Makes life so much easier! Can't wait for bike season to return and this is well up my street, tho I may like to go to Ace Cafe first just cos I'm getting to like it there and hear about their events and would love to head off from there with tonnes of bikers and get loadsa pics...we'll see, plenty of time to decide -
You're awesome GOG....or should I say santa?

Christmas is probably the most difficult time of year in reality. Many of us have to work it or work crazy hard to make sure everything is sorted ready for it, decorate the house, spend hundreds on presents while our purse strings get tighter, write wanky cards that no one cares about, full of expectations and shite. Holiday next Christmas methinks..somewhere they don't celebrate it. And no family are allowed to die before or on it in particular (so sorry to hear Fozzie's grandad also passed away).. God it's been the worst ever. But it can't get any worse. You're gonna pass your practical soon and lol at me still on Ermintrude, thrash me on corners and ride it like you stole it (carefully !) while I pootle along and only wave at you when filtering. You'll get the pay rise you so badly deserve and visit your crazy brother in Austria and your parents that you don't see enough. Not to mention all the rideouts and biker meets that are to come as from a couplea months time. So many hugs xxx

Holy crap you've been a busy boy Allan! Better ride her round for another cuppa and to show us the big changes soon! -
V unhappy Bikermoo! Complete knob end white van man following me *right* up the arse of a pitch black country road on my way to a docs appt tonight, in the rain with a nice layer of mud on the road, slippery road warning signs all on the road previous. Despite me shaking my head and waving him back after at one point thinking he was going to hit me...I was also being blinded by his lights reflecting from my mirrors onto my visor making it real hard to see (glare from cars passing in the opposite direction not helping at all either). I wasn't even going that slow! But I soon got slower the more anxious he made me feel. I really wish he knew just how much he shat me up...must've reeeally been in a rush to be that much of an inconsiderate ar*ehole. Was late for my appointment as I couldn't shake it off and crawled along the rest of the way, arms still as hell...had a nice driver behind after who gave me plenty of space. Otherwise, winter riding has been going well!

Oh noes, poor mister Fro and Matty too!!

I think I win on the 'pic with the lycra clad tarts' front: http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k96/spastic_potato/BikerMoos%20Piccies/20131129_131531a_zps5bc3607b.jpg Had a freaking fantastic day - totally in my element, completely solidified what I thought, that I defo want a Kawasaki. I bought a green and black shark helmet in prep to match the bike, the green and black jacket I wanted wasn't small enough though sadly so still yet to get one. Couldn't find any decent winter gloves either, didn't like that all of them including the heated gloves didn't have decent armour like my current ones do. Will try to buy some from Cambridge Motorcycles tomorrow instead. Got some new boots - as did Wallie - got matching ones as by coincidence the same style fit our freaky feet, and I got RST textile trousers that fit perfectly, a luggage net to keep under my seat and a fold up bag I thought was a tail bag that I've now doated to Wolls! Haha! Loved seeing the TMBF crew again, missed Tango, Bonniebird and Yorbandit as we used to see them regularly til 'bike season' and therefore the weekly meets ended. Was *awesome* to see Jammy again too, to meet his lovely lady and meeting Tankbag at long last. http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k96/spastic_potato/BikerMoos%20Piccies/20131129_120453a_zps9045a44b.jpg http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k96/spastic_potato/BikerMoos%20Piccies/PB290601_zpsb6ada9ca.jpg Went and drooled at the Kawasakis again at the end of the day and a sales rep saw me staring longingly and confused at the Ninja 300...was a bloody nice bloke, chatted about the pros and cons between it and the ER6F and seemed to think I would get on with the 300 more. I certainly preferred the sitting position of the 300 and liked the smaller size, the fact it weighs less and the slipper clutch (see, I didn't disregard it Martin and co ) - both can come with ABS. But still liking the ER6-F. The finance options were more affordable than I thought they would be too; my recent promotion at work will certainly help with that too! Only test rides will tell what my ultimate decision will be though. First big bikey lesson for us on Sunday - OH MY GOOOOD! DAS here we come! So excited!

You won't miss me, my hair is literally this colour: waaaaah!!

I've messaged Jammy and Gazzy on Facebook - hopefully will see you both in the morning too . Jammy has my mobile no, I'll message Gazzy mine in a moo . My manager told me off this morning for making too much noise when I jumped on a workmate, shook her and screamed about how excited I am about NEC tomorrow!!!

Oozie/Wollsy/RantMachine/husband person! Moo's mantra, in order of important-ness (for me at least): > relax your arms (say it out loud) > relax your hands but still keeping a good grip on the handlebars > look ahead into the corner, physically lift and turn your head, whilst also checking the road surface. You can still look into the corners on dark roads you're familiar with - look ahead into the blackness at where you know the road is. Don't stare only a couple of feet in front of you. > relax your face > breathe normally > sing > smile > keep as upright as you can on roundabouts/corners > ignore any dickish drivers tailgating you if it happens > don't fret. Don't tell yourself off. Doesn't matter if you're mega slow. Conditions aren't great atm and you don't travel in rush hour. Chill out. You'll get it back. The big bikey lesson on Sunday will help up both. Keep smiling xxx

Look what I just found! My only Challenge 100 this year (because I couldn't be arsed and Norfolk was the furthest I rode this summer whilst gaining more confidence)! I'll do lots more with Wallie next year on a way cooler bike . I dislike that Wolls stole 101 (LOL), So I got 800 (BOO) instead!

My gloves make my hands smell
BikerMooFromMars replied to Glorian's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
I bloody well didn't, I put them in the airing cupboard on top of the water tank and pipes and they just weren't dry enough in the morning so you had to hairdry them to get the last of the damp off! Ya cheeky sod! -
Good luck with it Kitty & Cat! Hope you can sort it out.

Ollie's were cheap ones from BMF. I put them on a delicate wash in the washing machine once and he went ape shit at me - STILL smell though!! Bleugh! -

CONFIRMED FOR FRIDAY 29TH Tango BonnieBird Moo RantMachine YorBandit TankBag JamBerryKing Add your name to this list if you're going on the Friday! Shall we all aim to meet up for a drink/some grub maybe? What are you all hoping to get? I have an epic list as per usual Moo needs: new textiles (at least a jacket), thermal gloves, boots & new helmet Moo wants: an ER6f hahaha, heated grips & whitle leathers (to get black fresian-style blobs sprayed on! ) I will hopefully find out what my bonus is this year before I go as planning on using it for this...currently saving for bike lessons, test and ER6F but keen on getting some better gear. Only thing I've really spent good money on are my bike, back protector and knee guards!

Well bloody done! I am very impressed, however would not do this myself - I find my toss box is ugly enough, takes away from the sleekness of the bike. I like it in gloss and that it looks like it has a face on the back! I reckon it'd look a lot better without the seat bit and handles tho . Only based on what I like though - it works for you and looks like you've done an awesome job of it and that's all that matters
