  1. This is the most expensive Halfords set @ £293 - not Halfords brand? Can you get an epic discount with that? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... igh-to-low
  2. My F*ck it...I REALLY want Photoshop back. Had a naughty version on my ancient laptop, used the free trial on my MacBook, tried to legitimately pay monthly for it - but I need a credit card! I miss it so much I'm contemplating getting a credit card for it! (And then keeping it in a drawer so temptation won't get the better of me! Maybe with the Halfords card...
  3. Oh, the 'they' - but 'they' are all knowing! My mum uses 'they' in almost every discussion or argument to prove her point - though can rarely answer who 'they' are - but they are best not questioned!! Oh yeah, sounds like your usual bland bump in a car... Bloody hell, hope it heals quickly but sounds like a long, drawn out one! What's the prognosis? Will you be able to use it well enough in the future? I hope you got witnesses and get a decent payout.
  4. How does one possibly replace their lost Halfords card? (pretty pretty please...I even sent my form back in a timely manner!) The flat has eaten it somewhere... ...I now try to only go to get stuff with Fozzles whose card is securely in hos wallet I'm out of it on tramadol so don't get hints.... is that a hint or you actually lost yours? Actually lost mine! OMFG tramadol is fantastic HAHAHA! Was on it after my knee op - got RantMachine to hide it from me cos I started taking it when I didn't reeeeally need it! Why are you taking it out of interest? Feel better (I assume something hurts!)
  5. How did you manage such a thing?! (as in, your thumb being remooved somewhat). Hope it feels better soon
  6. Bloody hell, are you 100 years old or something so what? Doesn't stop anyone having a good time - Brighton is fantastic! Depends what sort of a good time you want. Well I used to go for day trips with my mum - lots of nice restaurants, interesting little shops, nice seasidey-ness (not so great this time of year prob though) and an old school fairground. We used to have a right laugh...funnily enough gay people didn't really feature in my memories, probably because they are just people...
  7. There certainly was when I was in there You're a giant penis *fnar fnar de fnar*

  9. I second Amsterdam - so very pretty and loads to see and do. The sex museum of course is a must loads of great photography/art museums and nice little shops. I was a student with v little money when I went and managed to eat and go places and enjoy myself lots watching friends get stoned and then taking them on rides was pretty amusing too

  11. Pics please - interested to see how it's going and your work area Well done so far!
  12. Stop breathing I rode with my visor open a crack until I bought my pretty Skark helmet with pinlock
  13. Sunshine tomorrow - after I arrive at work, and gone by the time I head home - f*ck it!
  14. I got bored and missed the bit explaining why peanut butter was being used Moo feels sad for you and your shiney new bike misfortune hope you get it sorted soon
  15. Not the foam...NOT THE FOOOOOOAAAAAAAAM!!!! They're not that bad really, but they don't like my earholes...one always comes at least part-way out. And then I can't stop wiggling my ear to make it pop out cos it's so frigging annoying! Nope, didn't take long to work out remooving the helmet so the earphones don't get tugged. Easiest way is to hold the helmet strap and pull one side, then the other. Good luck finding a solution that works for you
  16. You just have to do it gently at an angle, there's a knack to it - it's easy when you try, honest. I've done it no problem it with 4 different helmets
  17. Pics or it never happened!!! Congratmoolations to you both x
  18. Only I could snigger at this title in an odd kind of way I listen to moosic quietly with those earphones that feel like they're having intercourse with your earholes - what is this wind noise you speak of??
  19. Don't be dismayed! Do you drive a car - if so do you ever listen to the radio or music? I almost always ride listening to music, singing along. It was my way of coping with nerves after my off, and I love it. I still pay full attention to the road, I just enjoy even myself even more when I'm riding. I don't listen very loud and can still hear the road If anything, you may find a radio is more distracting, especially if you're bickering with your OH!
  20. It's taken me *two evenings* to get to the end of this thread I'm a slow reader...and I got bored Btw, there's always more popcorn memes out there (no, I'm not gonna quote that!!!)...
  21. Not bike related; I asked the dentist I worked for to file down some of my toof I had filled by my usual dentist (that I also used to work for) in Cambridge at the start of September. It's been sore and achey when I eat - I just assumed the filling was too high. Turns out there is a small hole in the filling (therefore a stagnation area - food would have been getting trapped there) and possibly decay underneath but was difficult to see on the x-ray. Need the filling removed and checked, any possible decay removed and re-filled. Takes 2 months to get an appointment with him in Cambridge though, and can't get the dentist I'm working for to do it cos we're too busy all the time. Bugger.
  22. Doesn't need sarcasm though, was just asking a genuine question Sorry Moo - My response was not meant to be sarcastic (I thought you knew me better than that!) I've re-read it and still cant see where it is sarcastic. - Anyhoo - Apols. No worries, thought you took offence to me making sure I wasn't being 'shafted' on holidays - inverted commas and caps locks used after made me think you were annoyed/frustrated at me or something. Sorry if I was being a grump, and fanks for the advice x
