    Hi

Welcome to the forum mad biker. When you get your Suzy, we need pictures, otherwise you'll have to stand in the corner
  2. Noooooooooooooo, that's something else I need to do to my bike now.............
  3. Yes I agree, brake fluid every 2 years though
  4. Whilst that's not "cheap", I don't think it's too bad. Changing out the fork oil, and also a complete brake fluid change, as well as all new spark plugs, removing and replacing wheels, etc etc No mean feat....
  5. I wish I'd thought about farming 30 years ago... Alas, we're not agricultural, we keep and breed horses, which isn't going that well and we lose a heck of a lot of money. Feck me though, buggered if I'm going back to working in town, I used to fix computers before this, and despite being wet and frozen 6 months of the year, I wouldn't swap it. I've got more friends here than when I lived in London, and we live miles from each other, and I much prefer being woken by blackbirds at 04:00, than drunk people kicking cars and fighting all night.
  6. That looks damn good. I'd rather get someone else to do it though
  7. Same here, I'm waiting in the straw barn for the rain to ease off a bit, it started getting heavy as I went to take the straps off my load of haylage..
  8. Hello, and welcome to the forum
  9. They hadn't wiped the spot, I ran my finger over it, and it's dirty.
  10. I'm going out tonight, just to squeeze in a few miles before a week of rain, when I'll be doing an oil and filter change. Amongst my excitement, I'll try to find head space for thinking about the balancing.. Cheers
  11. Apologies for hijacking the thread, does anyone balance their tyres? Found one of my weights next to my front wheel, and I can see where it was stuck, but I've never noticed weights on bike wheels. Wondering whether to pop to my friendly local tyre fitter for another?
  12. Looks very smart, I really like the heat shield. You're only seeing a tiny bit more of the cat, it's just more noticeable because the new can is smaller than the original. How about some matt black fire paint? The kind they spray on log burners etc, that would hide the cat. Something like this (although this is a paint) https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-sp5-heat-resistant-stove-paint-matt-b/
  13. Now I'm just drooling more than I usually do. Wishing you a good holiday.
  14. I love my Cardo, I have yet to use it for chat, but the"hey Cardo " commands are pretty good, and you can still use" OK Google " and the Siri commands. The battery life is excellent too.
  15. Happy birthday
  16. Exactly what I did when renewing recently, I made a good quality scan of both sides. It came back perfect, so hopefully that's all been sorted in the past couple of years.
  17. Lovely story, may his chirpy little soul rest in peace
  18. It's only been a week since I cut the grass, but the ducks are still trying to hide...
  19. Good news
  20. All we need now is your bank account number
