Oh absolutely, it's not my car, I'm very aware of how the system works in relation to the sustained rpm required to automatically trigger regent attempts whilst driving etc. She potters around locally, very rarely gets the car on prolonged boost and due to a lack of cruise control we don't normally take her car on longer trips.
I happen to have the vag Ross tech software to scan and read sutt levels etc so it's not actually that much of a pain.
If I didn't have the software I'd of insisted she went with a different engine.
It's definitely not ideal but as you can imagine, when choosing a car I had to pick my battles when it came to certain bits and the fuel choice was the least of my concerns
The car is actually getting driven to Manchester today very "spiritedly" by me in order for me to judge her new tyres cough cough
