1. I think Six30 deserves special recognition for sorting the dodgy login problem. Top work old chap. Poor show from Richzx6r for essentially trying to teabag Stu in to getting the mod gig.
2. JRH, those last two drawers are an utter disgrace! Get out there and get them in size order immediately!
3. Well that would suggest that there is s very great need to have them unless you enjoy tackling rounded off fasteners . No, that's not the suggestion at all. I think poor quality or incorrectly sized 6 point sockets/tools are more likely to damage nuts/bolts/screws than decent, properly fitting 12 points. Unless you have low quality or rusted fastenings...

Xmas Thread!

You know what mate, after nearly a week cooped up with the family I'm seriously considering tapping you up for a job!
5. Personally, and I mean really personally, I'd bung a turbo on it.
6. Yeah, 3/8" is a good size that covers most of the range you'll need. 1/4" is a nice size for little bits and bobs - I use mine quite a lot. Don't think I touch my 1/2" stuff much at all. You don't "need" six sided sockets by the way although they do tend to round off cheap or rusted fastenings less readily than 12 points.
7. I've had one of those Screwfix torque wrenches since I was 15ish so 20 odd years (shit!). It still works in so far as it clicks when a torque is reached - no idea how accurate it is though! Nowadays I'd buy Teng or Halfords pro but that's only because I really rate Teng and they're great value for money. Similar story with Halfords too.
8. Best present? [strikeout]The eternal love of my family[/strikeout] A bottle of selenium dioxide from Mrs wife, as requested. Worst present? It's got to be socks hasn't it?

Mmmmm

No. But I'd love to try hub centred steering though so can I have a lend when you get one please?
10. I have a dehumidifier in mine for this very reason!
11. One lot are a silvery colour, one lot are a goldy colour.
12. I semi agree with you Stu - the ones on the ZXR are turd but the zx6r are fine.
13. Had you thought about paving slabs. Have a look on gumtree & freecycle - people often give them away if you pick them up.
14. No thanks, the bike is completely standard aside from the lines and the brakes are fine because I've maintained them.
15. Just ring the main dealer. As said previously, it might be a known fault or it might still be in warranty.
16. You're probably right. The battery died several months ago so I need to get one of those too. Just priced up EBC shoes front & rear plus a motobatt. Less than £50 - the joys of a CG. The big question is can I be arsed to de-lace the hubs and skim the drums... Probably not.
17. I fitted HEL lines to the ninja. Can't say I noticed any difference if I'm honest. I was just going overboard ready for my first track day.
18. What could be better than OEM?
19. If she ever returns...
20. Sorry! I'm going to report you for hurting my feelings! Oh... shit.
21. ...on the cg125... Whenever it's a bit wet out the brakes are snatchy and squeaky until they get some heat in them. My "cure" is to ride the first few hundred meters in second gear with front or back brake on which is a bit dicey as the front tyre is about as grippy as a moist haddock. Anyroad, I've had them apart and they look fine, cleaned out the dust, roughed up the drum and put a small chamfer on the leading edge of the liners but they're still pants in the wet. Has anyone got any great ideas or tricks they'd like to share as I'm fresh out of ideas. Cheers, Fro
22. That's the thing that's got you in to trouble in the first place KA-POW! You just made me sad...
23. Watched about 15 minutes. Utter gash.
