1. "I need some advise about breaks"
2. Or park up the street and piss someone else off.
3. Pffft. I have in broadsheet form and once I've finished poring over the interesting sections I pass it on to my man to buff the windows of the Rolls.
4. I live in a very small town in a very remote area.....there is no local bus service, nearest railway station 100kms, and nearest city 160kms. No English spoken whatsoever. Sounds like Norfolk Nah, he didn't mention anything about extra fingers or webbed feet.
5. That was the kind of money I was thinking! Usually RS are good for that sort of stuff but I'll be buggered if I can find them!
6. I just used to put "optimate connectors" in ebay search At £3 a go? You've got to be joking! Knowing what they are gets them for 69p. Cheers Stu.
7. You're not Maltman from Bury St Edmunds are you? Haven't got a scooby about the bike though.
8. I used a '95 plate zxr750 as a daily commuter and track bike until I bastardised it. It's absolutely all about condition and how well it's been looked after.
9. Oi, Stu, do you know where I can get the old style optimate connectors at a reasonable price too?
10. I don't think you're wrong; my gpz900 was exactly the same, as was the zxr 750 until I gave the carbs a really good going over. Now it's not quite so bad.
11. If you can manage to kick your stand up every time you set off then just get rid of it.
12. What did you fit and how is the beam pattern?
13. Did you piss yourself?
14. My lid has a red tag on the lower ring for just that purpose. Besides, of you're that worried about it then get a decent lid with the emergency release mechanism.
15. Have a look at the companies I mentioned earlier... Rich is right, MotorSportVision (probably others too) often have free group instruction on riding techniques throughout the day - you can of course pay for individual tuition either by the session (generally 20 mins), half day or full day. Novice only days are great, nice and relaxed without too much ego bollocks that you get in multi level days. I've seen all sorts on novice days from guys on 250cc bikes having just passed their test to grey beards hacking around on naked muscle bikes.
16. Bike safe is quite good. Have you considered a track day? It's incredible fun, safe and is very good for improving rider skill. Especially if you take advantage of the 1:1 track tuition available through most track day suppliers e.g. Motorsport Vision, Nolimits, etc.
17. Only if you make them yourself out of bits of dead squirrel.
18. Yeah, don't fail! How experienced are you and what did you fail on?
19. I heard a similar programme a few months back. Apparently one can take "healthy" people's turds in pill form known as crapsules.
20. I did a proper job on the headlight of the cg. I managed to wangle a bog standard 472 bulb in there with minimal adaptation. Going from 35 W to 55 W is fan-f*cking-tastic. I could see on my way home tonight!
21. You rate it then? Yeah, I used it during the turbo build. I was really surprised how good it was - cut through years of gank no problems.
22. Screwfix no nonsense degreaser is the way to go.
23. Is your normal key an original one that came with the bike or a recut? I've found that cut keys don't work well in Hondas.
24. I bought a pair of forms boots in 2006. I think the current version is the Ice Pro Flow. I wear them all year round and although they are starting to look quite tatty, they're still fine to use. I've bought £100 boots before and they disintegrated in no time so I'm happy to pay for good ones.
