  1. It is a 2 stroke yaknow
  2. My bad. I really wanted to write; "People in Marmaris Turkey mostly ride scooters and don't give a toss about their wellbeing" but it wouldn't fit. Should have just missed out the vowels, those of us who texted in the 90s would have understood.
  3. It denotes the colours of traffic lights they're allowed to ignore.
  4. I feel mislead by the title of this thread.
  5. It is kerosene.
  6. Essex mate If you fancy a trip to Bury St Edmunds then I have a CG for sale.
  7. I'm not a fan of cafe racers but that looks pretty bloody smart!
  8. Calvin Klein Classic Kid... look him up. He was a previous version of ftw.
  9. If it were me I'd be getting a refund. You can get a full vehicle report for less than a tenner if you suspect it's a wrong 'un.
  10. Did you get it from CK?
  11. The same thing happened to me last year (or was it the year before ). I left the oil draining overnight and then did the filter the next day with my ordinary oil. The bike still works so... win.
  12. Stick a brown leather seat on it along with some dodgy electrics and slap it on eBay as a cafe racer at £5k.
  13. That's a lot of money for an old bike that needs a good bit of work & has 50k miles on the clock!
  14. Why not just get a race fairing pained up in OEM colours? Way easier and cheaper than trawling about for original panels and much easier to whip off for servicing and stuff.
  15. Very interesting! I'm looking forward to seeing how you get on...
  16. If you want rearsets for the track (originals hit the ground quite early) then SES do a set which are quite good. They even use pictures of my bike in the ad. I've got some spare wheels if you're going to get in to track days - freshly powder coated with new bearings. Probably got some other stuff too...
  17. Yeah, stick a turbo on it. It'll go from this (109bhp): 20150821-184730294.bmp To this (170bhp): *Drops mic*
  18. I have an L3 which is the same except for the colours. Great bike - super nimble with a good turn of pace. If it's got the original shock then it might be a bit bouncy - an aftermarket unit will make a world of difference. The original Tokico calipers can be a bit iffy but a good clean and set up greatly improve them. They can be replaced with Nissin calipers - you just need some adapters to make them fit correctly. Some people fiddle-arse about fitting jet kits to the carbs - drilling slides and all that which more often than not does not improve things. There's plenty of stuff you can do to jazz them up too which is a bonus. Give me a shout if you want to slap a turbo on it and I'll give you some pointers.
  19. Only flown at 6', outside of peak hours & not on the flight path... I'll go and plink them with my air rifle for £5k/day.
  20. It'd be cheaper to buy an aftermarket ECU than get the OEM parts! http://www.ignitech.cz/en/
  21. A quick Auto trader search shows your chosen bike brand new at £4.5k and a two year old for around £3k so about that much. Why don't you come and buy my CG125? It'll cost you way less than you'll lose in depreciation and in a couple of years you can probably sell it on for what you paid for it.
  22. I think Bob has tried everything with this guy so I highly doubt logic is going to work.
  23. I think I just found your YouTube vid about polishing up old chrome... https://youtu.be/76-lQwTru3s
