This is spot on. I learned to drive in London. And although I quit the place 30 years ago, I still revert to type and drive like a nob unless I keep my mind focussed. Doesn't help that I've a nob's car too.

You can get kits to mount them to one of the forks, like this. I used some neoprene to protect the forks. Here's how they look from the front.

When my son was preparing for his, I'd blithely said not to sweat it, you can't fail. Turns out he took this a bit too literally and turned up without a clue of what the inside of The Highway Code looks like. He failed, of course.

You may be glad of the small rubber one, I had one similar to the one Bonio is giving away & it scratched the top yolk of my old Speedtriple to buggery. It worked fine on my Tiger 800. There's a little key-fob shaped space between the tank and the ignition; it tucks in there in, leather side towards the tank, and never moves.

Like has been said, you can ride a 50cc moped now without L plates. After you get the CBT, you can also ride a 125, but only with L plates.
