1. Glorian, you star! Congratulations But pics is the rule on these things.
2. Wha wha wha wha.. whaddyaget????
3. I read the same thing as a threat, too. But now I've read it again, it seems to me more likely that Yeldur was trying to give Youngbiker819 some advice that would keep him out of trouble, and hadn't seen that, read in a different tone, it could sound a bit nasty.
4. Dang it. It's cos you're so darned nice.
5. I saw some under £100 on their web site; they're running a sale right now. But perhaps they don't have your size in. I found that the sizes run like normal sizes. I got a longer leg that I would normally, as I prefer to pad around with baggy ankles when I'm off the bike than having the legs ride up towards my knees when I'm on it.
6. Hood jeans. I've had mine a couple of years. I've worn them and worn them, and they still look great. Full kevlar lining, not just on the areas where they hope you will land, so great protection. I really recommend them. If you want armour as well, it will come in at just over your budget, but without armour they're just under £100, I think.
7. You do? What did you do to him? I showed mine yards of paint flaking off the final drive and he just shook his head at me.
8. Their bike. Solves all kinds of problems like getting insurance, and getting the bike to the training centre (you won't be able to ride it there on L plates).
9. When I did DAS, I was taught not to do two-finger braking. But I changed a few years ago, and now it's the way I brake always. The thing that persuaded me was the idea that to clench your fist is an instinctive reaction when you're suddenly frightened. So if you're used to braking with four fingers, and something happens that spooks you, you could grab a fistful of brake and come a cropper. Whereas you're less likely grab the brake like that if you use two fingers. I don't know if it's true but it seemed quite possible, so I changed.
10. Great news! Well done. Now go buy yourself a bike
11. Oi mate. If that's your bike, someone's stolen half of it.
12. 6 hours on the road - you mean 6 hours there and 6 hours back? If so, then Wales it is. 2 hours 40 from Southampton to the Brecons. 4 hours 20 to Aberyswyth. That gives you plenty of time for playing on the glorious roads. I've been there once, so I can't claim to know the best roads, but the A44 to Aber is awesome, as is and the A483 from Builth Wells to Newtown.
13. Wowza. Time to count my silver linings: my seals are still going after 45000 smiles.
14. Was a great evening. Lovely weather. Nice ride. Loadsa bikes, lots to see. Like this Buell What is it?? And this As for mine, it now needs a wash even more than it did before.
15. It is covered under warranty / extended warranty?
16. I'm beyond the back of beyond
17. I thought I'd trot along to this do this evening: https://www.facebook.com/events/1371432679668989/ Not been before, but it's going to be a nice evening, and it seems like there can be quite a large crowd there. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-xBvkFE-XbjI/U_g4T50luQI/AAAAAAAAEVE/E9BfzVBVE8U/s1600/two%2Bwheel%2Btuesdays%2B008.JPG It's not far from Snetteron, about half-way between Norwich and Thetford. Anyone else coming?

20. I just can't wear lilac. Makes me look dreadful.
21. Like wot Via said. Sure, you can learn on sportish bike. The Honda Repsol CBR 125 is the sportyish 125 I know of. Or take a look at the MT125, which I reckon is very nice on the eye. But better, I reckon, would be to spend the cash instead on on DAS course, and then get a 600 sports, which will be cheaper to buy and fuuuunnnnn to ride.
22. I once saw a woman who the cops had taken from her car and had pulled into the police station for DUI. They were booking her in, and asking her address and that kind of thing. It was 12 noon. And she was so drunk, she could hardly articulate the answers. An hour before she'd been driving, and she sure hadn't had anything to drink since the cops had reached her.
23. That's bad luck - and bad advice from the instructor, it seems. When I did Mod1, I was told to use up all the space, which I did, and no problems. But that was some years ago and I guess they've changed the criteria since then. I don't imagine there's much you can do to change the outcome: just book up a retest and press on.

lighthouses??? Small ones are ok. I really like the cute little one at Southwold. But Beachy Head....uhgh, no, that just too rectum-twistingly grim.
25. Nice write up. Good idea to clean the phone of any pics like that after a weekend away with the lads.
