  1. Yeah I don't really like stoner but hats off on how well he rode the ducati.
  2. Oooh I quite like that not normally a beemer fan. Love the carbon fiber bits
  3. Eeeerrm don't leave your foot over the rear brake is the only thing I can think of don't worry your instructor will very quickly let you know if you're doing something wrong
  4. Oasis remembering your life savers on all roundabouts and lane merges!
  5. I did 2 years on a 125 before doing my DAS. Girl I was with hadn't really ridden before. Instructor said we both had as much to learn. Her how to learn to ride and me how to learn to ride properly
  6. you develop a skill of rear braking dipping the clutch and keeping the revs up. Or at lights just let it die as it started back up fine. Or through filtering keep a bit of choke on. I do not recommend any of these things
  7. I have motogp for the ps2! I'm retro geek
  8. I have an N64, gamecube and ps2. You may need to ask me in 20 years when I've caught up
  9. I did once pull the choke on and the whole sodding cable came out Ah British Leyland build quality!
  10. I went mad for a few years so had a 1971 Morris Marina which had a choke. Took a while to get used to it! Lived in fear of cutting out at junctions (which only actually happened once!) Many many moons later when I started riding the 125 I had the same FEAR as before, especially as it didn't have a cheaty engine temp gauge and it tended to cut out in low revs when it was cold regardless
  11. Well you should have started earlier if you still end up beating me I will not be happy
  12. Yeah on a bike you're either in the right gear or the wrong one and you wont need an indicator to tell you if you're in the wrong one chug chug chug go down SCREEEEEEAAAAAAM go up
  13. There's no minium time to wait between cbt sessions (unlike the theory and mod 1 & 2) Some centres will give additional instruction free as part of the cbt package you'll need to ask your centre what the deal is. Also gears are the easy bit - it's the remembering to cancel your indicators you need to worry about
  14. Well I hope it's wrong I'm plummeting down it stupid ianonne
  15. If you've bought a geared bike I'd recommend doing your CBT on a geared bike! It's a not a test you cannot fail it - they may ask you come back for a bit more instruction. relax and enjoy it.
  16. Hiya, most places have free bike parking for the where do I display ticket issue. They may only have a limited number of spaces though. I'd either see if you can scope it out online or take a dry run down and see what it says.
  17. I think we all know which one I think you should get But bad luck on the write off - glad you're ok
  18. Hiya, yeah agree with the guys above. Also remember that the examiner isn't looking for how quick you can stop (within reason - if you go sailing past the end of the course you may be in trouble ) but that your technique is good (no skids or wheelies!).
  19. Yaay! Go Dovi! Forgot to clock what lap cal fell off on
  20. Haaaaha! I'm hoping vinales and ianonne can keep at the front mix it up a bit qualifying was a lot more exciting than the f1
  21. Probably taken out by Jack miller
