Twenty plus years ago SOME , not all Chinese bikes were truly dreadful . I can only go on my own personal experience but when you discover that a CG style motor has aluminium tubes for pushrods with chromed ball bearings GLUED in the ends you know something ain't right . I've seen a black engine sprinkled with glitter and I've seen a centre stand slicing into the back tyre . Fake radiators and linked braking systems that are the wrong way round as well as piggy back shocks that are solid castings spring to mind as well .

Don't you mean Chinese but assembled in Britain ? Some bikes such as Mutt are Chinese bikes RE assembled in Britain .

There are 14 Varadero 125's on eBay including a £450 project bike . Most are on auction and are already past one and a half grand .

Clearly this is copied from the Highway Code so either I've been wrong for years or it's been revised . I thought you could cross double white lines to pass an agricultural vehicle if it was going slowly enough .

The trouble with that approach is that droning along on a 125 that is essentially a miniature motorcycle will not really give you a taste of what Biking is about . A larger bike will allow you to glimpse what speed , power , road presence , comfort , noise and the sheer f**koffness * is like . Otherwise you are in danger of joining the ranks of people who say " I used to have a motorbike " * quote : Ben Kingsley .

Please do not touch the Keyway Super light with a twenty foot barge pole ! This is an utter travesty of a motorcycle . Turns into a rust bucket in one year , it's styling is totally pretentious and it's got one cylinder and two exhausts for f**k sake ! Pleas please leave this abomination alone .

GSX 1100 . Engine the size of a modest building , styling like a broke back Camel , Vance and Hines with no baffles that caused small children to burst into tears and shit themselves , seat like a sofa , inadequate brakes , the best riding position I've ever had and more speed and power than the human body can withstand . This was the bike that the Katana was based on . F*****g awesome ! PS . There's one less in existence because I smashed this one to pieces and lived to tell the tale .

If you got the bike for some beer I would be pleased that it was running at all . It's pointless to speculate until you have stripped , cleaned and inspected the carburetors .

Woke up the Harley from its winter hibernation and took the camshafts out of the ER5 in preparation for pulling the cylinder head off tomorrow .
