  1. What in the holy hell is that Old bow saw ... As in the string on top was similar to a violin bow ... You could tension the blade for various woods , cuts or blade lengths
  2. Similar to one of these when the tension locking peg decides to snap and twat you round the chin a few times as it unwinds ....
  3. ShelfShould have been a bit longer so mains cable not bent against wall ...

  9. https://www.halfords.com/motoring/motorcycling/motorcycle-accessories/halfords-essential-self-adhesive-reflectors-552338.html If you don't want that bit on permanently
  10. G New forum rule Anyone posting anything on wish is going to get banned They sell some shite products Hence why saying a decent version of this .. Did not have time to trawl through to find a reputable site . I have the item my Grandfather used frequently somewhere over 60 years ago that is basically identical to this in design but of better quality .... Google leather sewing Awl Or Vintage leather sewing awl may bring up some better quality items on eBay https://www.foxschandlery.com/speedy-stitcher-sewing-awl-1501 is a new but made to look old but at least from a chandlery

  13. But it did the same with the existing engine in,if it has spark air and fuel it should fire But is it only getting fuel into the carb and none out of the carb Ie fuel at carb end of pipe but blocked/gummed float needle or jets Does the plug get wet ? Has the engine got compression? Myself would not use easystart as not a fan of it but i am more than happy to use a drop of fuel direct through carb whilst others are not .
  14. Are you sure that's the correct lock set as that ignition barrel looks more like a scooter lock with a seat release Edit ok after looking into it post 2015 have this style apparently but still unsure of the open shut switch
  15. Take forks apart and measure springs length and compare to manufacturers settings ( found in service manuals or possibly google ) Previous rider may have lowered it etc
  16. Check the locking place on the headstock as this can be damaged if the bars have been forced to break the lock . And can render a bike as a write off if the frame is damaged and potentially void any insurance policy if steering lock is not used unless other security measures are in place .
  17. If it was running ok before you changed air filter check that you have refitted everything correctly and you have the correct filter .
  18. Similar to this scenario.. https://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=68630 As it's going to happen and at least you can claim to be in control
  19. Oil filter strap wrench Should have a band of webbing that goes around an oil filter and tightens when turned https://www.uktoolcentre.co.uk/products/draper-12-square-drive-or-21mm-120mm-capacity-oil-filter-strap-wrench.html?sku=960818&gclid=Cj0KCQjwtLT1BRD9ARIsAMH3BtWjc7G7SIbHvBUW1dJMMfNjYlGGTqBuDJ41_P5iB48Xy_fdMEgzLesaAprIEALw_wcB
  20. I don't fancy the idea of any of them But next time I go to Portugal I want to bring some of the food they have there. Another good thing about a trailer is that you will get far less speeding tickets. Only if you remember to abide by the lower speed limits and that you are restricted on the amount if lanes you can use on a motorway ie 3 lanes or more you are not allowed trailers in the outer lane
  21. Keeping that loaded and a steel frame + axle and wheels under 150kg is going to be a mission ! Plus don't forget to check your insurance allows towing and if going abroad check which countries don't allow mc towing
  22. My creepy investigations have revealed another string to numpty's bow . Behold the Bellowbike ! No need for a noisy, inefficient , oil guzzling Hayabusa when you can peddle your way to 200 mph . Think he cracked his shins too many times on these as a kid Hence his hatred of a bicycle crank propulsion and its ' lack of efficiency'
  23. Not yet, it only has an 18" bar but i might order a longer one so i can still adhere to the social distance guidelines can you get 2m bars ? Generally 1.2m is max ... For most high powered saws However it is possible to get a two man saw ..
  24. You would think that he could actually spell his proud heritage right ... .
