  1. No a motorcycle uses power from the battery in normal everyday use as it requires a stable source of power .. The charging system replenishes the power in the battery If you used all electrical items at once on a motorcycle ie full beams , hazards, brake lights illuminated ,heated grips , ABS system activating , Horn ...The alternator would struggle to provide a stable source for the Ignition and fuel injection sysyems . Even without doing the above if you started the bike and isolated the battery from the system yes the bike would run but as soon as you push the limits the FI and Ign will start to struggle .
  2. But you can assume the gender of a Toaster Easily A female Toaster has a crumb tray A Male Toaster just lets it fall out .
  3. Yes you'd have to quickly put them away & deny all kowledge if the police turn up, but what's the odds of that if firearms are mentioned quite quickly ..
  4. Now for the post most will kick off about . But it has to be said .. DO NOT DO THE ABOVE ! wtf with the amount of knife crime already in this country why do you think this is acceptable .This makes you no better than the criminals your dealing with As for being chased .. You put yourself and others in danger by your actions over a piece of insured machinery .At what cost do you consider human life .. If they had caught you they could only attack you if you give them the chance to . It its a guaranteed that you have no choice LET THEM HAVE THE BIKE .Don't throw it down so its damaged and of no use to them as its you that has to stump up the cost to repair .If they take the bike ITS INSURED . If you had caused an accident do you think the thieves would have stopped to be your witness ? You say you used your skill as a motorbiker ... How about using your common sense as a Human being first . with regards to bike laying over.A cover can act like a sail and in high winds the bike may topple because of it . Maybe not what you want to hear but look at the larger picture
  5. some forces will not allow l plate riders to undertake bikesafe so check before booking
  6. I understand your new and trying to ingratiate yourself but perhaps do a bit of background research before you make your statements. 50cc will not do more than 33mph without modifications. 125cc Most will hold their own between 55mph &70mph Travelling a long distance is possible on a 125 comfortably and i mean hundreds of miles so a 40 mile journey may take less than an hour Regardless of what cc the bike staying at a constant 55mph (for arguments sake) My gtr1400 will take basically the same time as a 125cc over the same distance. You do your research, those type of bikes have higher horsepower than allowed to ride on a CBT you can at 17 ride upto an 11kw Motor cycle on a provisional licence with a cbt this is a 11kw bike capable of sufficent speeds https://www.yamaha-motor.eu/gb/en/products/motorcycles/supersport/yzf-r125/techspecs/
  7. Yea but that is a triumph explorer.............'EXPLORER', not a 125 I understand your new and trying to ingratiate yourself but perhaps do a bit of background research before you make your statements.
  8. lies, damn lies and statistics
  9. simple way is to change bulb for a new one . bulbs tarnish with age and become dull. or look at nightbreakers etc
  10. Most of that a10 is 40mph limit and dual carriageway . For a new rider its a reasonable journey . plenty of width to filter in heavy traffic . So i would say do it .. London is not that scary and daunting as people believe especially those who have never experienced it and base their knowledge of it on others .

    What a day

Having spent the past week in and out of hospitals as A.my mother was rushed into hospital back in Wales ( 210 miles away from me ) with blood infection and kidney problems ( on top of her a-z list of ailments) last Sunday . B. on Wednesday my wife was taken by ambulance to JR hospital in oxford after collapsing and kept in until today with suspect pancreatitis and also after presenting the lowest potassium level the surgeon has ever seen on a conscious patient ( 2.0 ). So the system and the staff do what they can and i can't fault them .

    Urban Falcon

Nah, that's deffo a pigeon. Seen loads round our way. I got paid once to count dead pigeons on Liverpool docks. I had to paint them yellow to make sure they stayed dead and didn't get counted twice. So I believe myself to be an expert on the species. think he meant the bird of prey not the victim ... unless coventry has some weird pigeons
