  1. if you enter under a red light it is an offence of breaching an advance stop line/ failing to comply with traffic signals .( two sets of traffic lights so two sets of stop lines ) if you enter it and it is unavoidable to wait in it ie amber as you cross first stop line then it is acceptable however you may have to prove this is the case so don't just use it . as 9/10 they will have seen you commit the offence before stopping or if camera controlled .
  2. Thanks for advise billy. Its not slipping into third though, it stays in 2nd. And cant go higher. I find that if i quickly open and close the throttle a few times it temp solves the issue. I know the issue is solved because there is residence again when i apply upward pressure in the foot change lever. Do you still reckon its a worn selector/slots? The slack chain comment is interesting, ive been meaning to tighten my chain now for a few weeks as its defo slack the chain tension helps with the backlash in the gears ( pressure) which aides the transmission so adjust this first ...as a chain warms up it gets longer so loses the pressure required edited as i started onething and went off on another train
  3. google sato hooks and then get the cheapy version just in case you ever need to recover bike but yes you will need to replace seat with a cowl .

  6. Hopefully people were dealing with the incident ? btw unconscious and helmet on are not a good combination ... i would urge all to attend either a First bike on scene or Biker Down first aid course . Those skills will make a huge difference to someone's life one day .

  20. without being doom and gloom i hope you have not underestimated damage .. rear shunts can present more non visible damage .. i look at your rear axle nut and think why is there evidence of movenent by the scoring of paintwork of swingarm .. and if you have declared the mods they will replace them like for like ..

  22. any chemical metal and even mechanical metal repair really needs the unit to be clean and oil free so i reality needs removing , cleaned thoroughly and dried . Try keying the area ( roughing/scoring the surface ) covers are more of an alloy and aluminium welding can burn bigger holes if not careful.
