Not really. Just book the ferry yourself anytime. The campsite will take a number of us, I will be in touch with them soon to book that and they are very flexible on numbers.

Hi Stu. It's £59 on the ferry then it's 20 Euro's a night for your tent. Plus your fuel money, food, beer etc. My preferred date would be the 13th July (fri), returning on the Monday. Looks like a few will be going further afterwards but as it's open, you can come and go as you please.

Ditto!! Great story, thanks for sharing!

Anyone ever re-soled Sidi boots?

Buy new boots you cheapskate! -
Hold on, let's see what everyone else can do first before booking time off!!!

No I am looking at it now outside the flat. Just being a lazy bast*rd it's quicker to log in :D

Looking around 12 maybe as I am on nights Sat night so won't be too early. 12/1pm would be good for me.
-
Middle of July would be good for me, I think it's Friday the 13th. Will have to see what everyone else can do but let's just kick the ideas off with that date for now.

The weather forecast is not good at the moment. High wind and showers in the south on Sunday.

Anyone doing this?

Anyone want to meet up at the services M/A23?

Well done to them both and of course to you too for making them what they are. Enjoy your dinner tonight

Ok, so far so good. Not too many going which is not a bad thing. I was thinking of carrying on down towards Bordeaux/St Emillion area. I was down that way 3 years ago and it was brilliant. Not too far either. As I said I will keep this open for another couple of weeks then set a date.
-
You should have left this for a while Vicki, these old people would have forgotten about it by then!
-
Ok, I will give this another couple of weeks then start looking at a date. So far it looks like July is good for some at the moment.

Try adjusting the visor, make it tighter, look for the manual if you still have it and tighten everything up.

Thoughts on this cover...

It says in the ad that it comes complete with a grounding plate so it doesn't blow away. -
Congrats Remy.

Well it can be done if enough interest. I can supply a drum kit and a bass, couple of amps and a PA if needed. So far we have a keyboard and drummer. Need guitarists. Rennie, I see what your saying that you wouldn't want a load of pissed up rally go-ers on your gear but being musicians I expect whoever plays will not be pissed up and would treat the other guys guitar or whatever with a bit of respect, well, that's what I have found in all my years of playing with bands anyway! So, we still need people to play instruments and more suggestions for a set list please. Let's not write this off yet.

Nice one Dave, congrats to you all

You both are, get over it :D

If so there will be a copy of it in Admin. Most forums don't delete a thread/post forever, they usually just get hidden away where they got deleted. I reckon it will still be around somewhere. Maybe a mod or someone who knows what they are doing could locate it and unlock it for us to see?

Not all of us come in Mondeo's to bike events Hey Pinky, It was a camping weekend, not a 'bike event' and if I hadn't of taken the car then Gin or Cat couldn't have made it. Whats with the 'rolleyes' smiley?
