they are search engine spiders (crawling the web), the crawl all the content and index it, that's why you can search for a thread title and google shows it etc. No they don't need to register, they are built into the forum software to allow content to be indexed

I live near meadowhall in sheffield, and I have a charger. What do you have in mind though? there's no way to charge your bike unless it's at a plug socket, and it'll take at least an hour to get anything into it

Gary, did you say you work in the oil industry? If so, do you have any insight as to why prices are going up so much, yet it seems like the oil companies are making record profits? It's the same with energy companies though, gas prices going up yet they are making more profit than before (though they claim it's wholesale prices increasing). Is it just trying to make as much money as possible / profiteering? Or is there something they know that we don't?

I don't ride when there the chance of ice, and if there's a decent amount of snow. Other than that, all year round I don't like wind though -_-
