Perhaps it wasn't so much the route, as what went on that day. As I recall you had a bit of bad news My test route took me on roads that I'd never been on before and I passed my MOD2, I think it's more to do with state of mind, all roads are the same and you should be able to deal with anything that gets thrown at you (just avoid flying 2x4's ). Just remember, they cant fail you if you don't do anything incorrectly or dangerously, always try to make progress but stay safe while doing it, try and show confidence even if you're not. Fumbling to change gear while stationary at the lights on green because you forgot to knock it down before stopping doesn't make you look good
