  1. Gave the big girl a good clean down, and prepped her for a lie down until next year put fuel stabiliser in the tank and hooked up to the trickle charger. 1st time I've owned a bike and not rode it through the cruddy season.
  2. Looking forward to the pics but not of you wearing the budgie smugglers
  3. My scorpion exo carbon was about £300 nice and light so no pressure on my neck came with clear and smoked Visor and a pinlock v comfy best lid I have bought yet
  4. I still have the one some of us got in return for a review and have to say it is very good
  5. Sod it I've just bought 2 nice to keep one as a spare
  6. Looks like they did to this what they should have done when they originally released the 1050. Looks a decent improvement as a tourer still dont think it's an offroader
  7. Good morning had great news yesterday my op planned for October will be done sooner. I had a call yesterday morning I go in on Sunday for a triple bypass, aortic repair and heart valve repair/replacement. I wasted no time in saying yes but running round like a loon finishing off stuff round the house so wife doesn't have to worry. I brimmed the AT with 24l of E10 the other day so I've some fuel stabiliser to put in as I can't see her moving off the centre stand for potentially 6 months.
  8. I think Labour and conservatives have been systematically incompetent. The thing is you can run a country balls it up and just walk away scott free. They insist most public sectors they control are tightly regulated meddle with how they are run but seem to be all pretty blameless and unaccountable themselves quite clever really. You can be done for corporate homicide and go to prison lead a nation into various tin pot wars on a whim or balls up an economy and lie abput brexit and just walk away how does that work? Long and short of it is left or right they will look after themselves before us.

    New PM

Haha on the Ricky theme I'd say Carl Pilkington for PM at least he would be honest and say we are doomed
  10. Yep can't see the rationale there. I agree scrap the smart motorways without a doubt. I'd say reduce all motorway speed to 60 better on the pocket and environment. The 20 limits that seem to be popping up are pointless and some research seems to suggest they have little positive impact. I'm guessing she has bigger worries than motorways atm!
  11. No I agree with you there just thought it was an Intwrezting article showing what can be done. I'm sure the company behind it won't really care for the UK government's decisions UK and EU laws are there but other parts of the world may take it up. Besides call me synical but the it would not be the first policy a UK government had had to delay or sideline due to not being fit for purpose.
  12. Yes it will be Interesting to see how that changes. I believe India are on some form of exercises with Russian and some far Eastern nations including China which is interesting as China and I dia don't really get on. I would imagine China will start buying more French hardware
  13. This looks interesting Near-zero-emission rotary engine could extend life of ICEs | Autocar https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/technology/near-zero-emission-rotary-engine-could-extend-life-ices
  14. India being the biggest one Modi would jump into bed with anyone!
  15. When I've been I avoid weekends and tend to go early. Otherwise it can be carnage and people riding/driving silly on the local roads close to the venue which is a shame for the locals
  16. Make sure you top up the screen wash too!
  17. Congrats you have that out the way just enjoy riding now!
  18. Great news kids are super resilient. When I told the wife she said a partial removal was likely, apparently 3% are born with that condition. I'm sure he will be running round and eating like a human dustbin v shortly
  19. That was a real tragedy and how a prison sentence didn't follow was criminal itself. You can not pay your TV licence or council tax and go down the steps, rip people off for millions in a pension fund and get a suspended sentence! I liked the concept of the atlas they were going to launch too
  20. Not for me either and silly money. I hear Hesketh are coming up with a new 450cc priced at £14k the engine is an old Honda derivative too I'll take the old Honda thanks
  21. I think this will be a common theme in the coming months sadly
  22. No makes perfect sense my beloved 12yo was well maintained and didn't miss a beat only got shut when it was wrote off I could have bought it back and had it repaired but we have opted to just have the one car now and swapped that one for a hybrid the aggo was a little too small. I think you are best hanging onto it as long as economically viable
  23. Try and find a local Air con specialist rather than a garage I had the same issue garage will happily do a basic test which won't pick up a leak tell you all is well and keep regassing you every year. I knew mine was knackered found a local air con specialist they ran some dye in and found the issue had a new air con rad and it was as good as new and didn't need refilling every year subsequently
  24. Looks like another v twin will be gifting the dust soon. I did wonder how long this engine could carry on it will be a shame to see it go Visordown: All-new Suzuki V-Strom breaks cover in spy shots, no more V2. https://www.visordown.com/news/new-bikes/all-new-suzuki-v-strom-breaks-cover-spy-shots-no-more-v2
