  1. That's the worst bit I've done the same thinking it may help someone out and they either don't turn up or want you to deliver it for free too. They don't normally appreciate my ending comment of "if you bend over I'll wipe if for you too"
  2. Back from a short break to cornwall last night and back to this today
  3. Probably comes in handy for cleaning the bike later
  4. Happy birthday mate
  5. How do you plug in these modern horse thingys?
  6. I find this app works because everyone else using the app can report it too if they see it and you can post results. Tend to get a better respo se than just contacting the council. Other than that local Councillors just hound them via email etc to sort it out. https://www.fixmystreet.com/
  7. At last some news on the new model.... Visordown: 2022 BSA Gold Star review from the Goodwood Festival of Speed. https://www.visordown.com/reviews/first-ride/2022-bsa-gold-star-review
  8. Oh dear I'm sure he will pay you in Ugandan dollars too. I had similar when I sold my folding camper a few years back. I'm about to sell my caravan as I'll struggle with the arsing around with its weigh wise post op, I'm sure I'll get the same dross
  9. I think I lasted 2 months in Facebook I don't miss not using it
  10. For around 4k for use with 2 up touring how about a versys 100, ST1300 or an fj1300?
  11. As said I'd steer clear too, chains sprockets brakes and tyres are things I wouldn't skimp on
  12. The 350 would be a perfect fit I reckon a single with not too many vibes. Get ur cbt done and take it from there that will determine how you feel. You have road experience in cars and cycles which should give you good awareness. Good luck and enjoy
  13. I suppose you could put ur head in a vice to make the helmet fit. I may set up such a service, head doesn't fit the helmet no problem we will redesign your head!
  14. We're Bodmin way not venturing too far otherwise I'd have loved that
  15. I'm currently in Cornwall for 5 days it's pretty dismal weather here too
  16. Not an unusual feeling at all @Troy I've been the same quite a lot not been very well physically then mentally. I made a point of going somewhere with stunning scenery and stopped off at some good places to get me back into it. As I'm working from home currently I'm not commuting, I'm only riding when I'm on the mood as I've noticed I don't enjoy it otherwise and my riding is not so good so I don't see the point.
  17. There are some decent Chinese offerings like the zontes 125 but value for money I think the cb125f with the esp engine 180mpg yes may look a little boring but simple engine, doesn't even have a starter motor and good reliability. As for kit I have some 3 layer richa stuff which in winter let's nothing in 3 years on and a lightweight mesh oxford jacket with a weatherproof lining and some Oxford leathers around 5yrs old kept in fine fettle with renapur balsam.
  18. That stretch along Carlisle always has nasty crosswinds it was quite interesting at speed in a sprinter van mustn't be fun for the lorries
  19. That's a proper back tyre!
  20. Yes not been before I'd say better than Shelsley Walsh better for spectating. I'll certainly be back next year, the sidecars were great, you could have a go as passenger for £15 as long as you had full motorcycle clobber. Fees went to the freewheelers too.
  21. Prescott bike fest today was a really good day plenty to see Henry Cole, Alan Millyard and Steve Parrish doing the rounds and happy to chat.
  22. Yep as said nothing you can really do you can fiddle with sprockets but the gains are minimal. I had a bullit 250 they are not badly put together just look after it. Ride it and enjoy it, it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow!
