I'll be out on Wednesday. Don't care what anyone says I am done with this dystopian misery. Still can't visit my grandchildren and if that's not lifted soon the government can stuff their made up rules where the sun doesn't shine.

I like my bathing to be hot water, I've had enough cold water bathing thanks. As for midges Vs people it's easy enough to shut people up bloody impossible to get shot of midges.

There's 2 things that work against that - a hot bath and midges! As for civility to twats I gave up on that long since. Usually just tune them out. The best thing about when we had the boat was being able to anchor in remote west coast anchorages literally miles from anywhere. Total isolation - bliss. Anchor far enough offshore there's no midges, you can carry loads of stuff, sleep in a comfortable bed and fish for your supper. Only used to pull into a harbour for fuel,water or food.

Yeah that's true. TBH I'm just wimpy at the thought of a trailer on the bike. Not really that keen on a pillion either.

True enough. I only camp if I'm backpacking into the hills for a longer fishing outing. Otherwise it's at least BhB

I think you are confusing Sports Direct with Sportsbikeshop two entirely different entities. One has great customer service the other does not. That said (and I loathe sports direct cos I don't like Ashley) but I had a Croatian chief mate who used to buy all his family's day to day clothing from them as they were cheaper than anything he could get at home.

My son in law has the K1300S. Loves it and has done about 30,000 miles on it. Smart bikes.

I was two up in one on a holiday in France. Never, ever again. I've never been so shit scared in my life. Don't mind the heights or the parachute, it's the damned bacon slicer whizzing round my backside I wasn't keen on. -

Be cautious. Personally I'd be wary of one that age due to the ownership at the time. Like everything else "buyer beware".

Not yet, it only has an 18" bar but i might order a longer one so i can still adhere to the social distance guidelines can you get 2m bars ? Generally 1.2m is max ... For most high powered saws However it is possible to get a two man saw .. maxresdefault.jpg Don't fancy being the poor sod on the "wrong" end. Guess it's the apprentice...

Me too, having been out it was covered in bugs so had to get them off. Be out again tomorrow as wife has recovered enough to realise that hospital food is not sufficient to maintain life and sent me an entirely sane request for the contents of Waitrose deli counter. So a very essential journey to help her preserve her sanity and mine too for that matter. She also gave me a lecture on all the precautions I need to take etc. I can see the unfettered male slob existence coming to an end.
