  1. I replaced mine with a JMT battery. It's a direct replacement, and is apparently a yuasa battery made under licence
  2. Powerline do a equivalent battery. They're not bad, but cca is less than yuasa one
  3. Fingers crossed mate.
  4. I got a ticket come last week, 40 in a 30, saw the van but never realised the limit had lowered from the direction of travel
  5. I know six30 is the butt of a lot of stuff on here, but I nearly choked on my cup of tea due to a advert. It advertised something called........ ......... Luminous six30 Does he glow in the dark?
  6. Now now, play nice
  7. @Bender says, took out an old boiler on Sat 48kg destroys screens when you rest it on your leg with phone in-between. Where did you take her?
  8. They should have ridden weebels, cos weebels wobble but they don't fall down
  9. You could always treat her to some new saucepans and stuff
  10. I see there is a big adjustable in the basket underneath
  11. Just entered a competition to win a 2022 Z650RS. A nice looking bike.
  12. Christ, what's happened?
  13. Ditto
  14. I was always taught to use the clutch and rear brake during any slow, tight manoeuvres, to the point of being at a standstill, and to keep the feet on the footrests
  15. Unfortunately now I've seen them out of the yoke I agree with Fastbob, those forks are scrap metal. If you get a front end from fleabay then I would do that and change the lot to be safe
  16. I gotta try the orange ones
  17. At the end of the day it's your decision, but consider this: have another set been in an accident/damaged, there is no way of telling what you are getting from fleabay
  18. Your more likely to have problems from pitted forks than from a decent restraightened set. I used my bike with straightened forks all year round and on all types of road, with no issues. The only problem would be if yours were creased, as that crease would be a weak point and could crack when straightened, but as I said earlier yours are curved like mine were, in fact mine were bent further than that
  19. I bet your more used to ships biscuits
  20. When I had mine straightened they outlasted the bike, which finally got totalled when an estate car pulled out in front of me. Actually I really have no idea what happened to the bike, I spent two nights in hospital with badly injured ankles and the bike disappeared. The last I saw of it it was propped against a wall
  21. I get further on a packet of chocolate hobnobs than on a packet of rich tea
  22. Do a CBT. You will learn how to handle a bike in what is basically a car park/private land situation, and only need go on the road if you feel ready to
  23. I hope that was some kind of euphemism
  24. Judging by where the bend is the impact was fairly low down, so yokes should be OK. Raise the front off the ground and turn the bars full lock to full lock, to look for any notchyness in the movement, if the yoke is bent it will show up as a tight spot
