Glad you're not too badly hurt. I would get the bike checked properly for the things you can't see. The frame could be bent, or the swing arm buckled. You have video evidence to take to your insurers if needs be.
  6. Could it be exhaust paste?
  7. You need to make sure there are no air bubbles coming out of the bleed nipple into the tube. It can take a while to get all the air out of the system
  8. Have you bled the line correctly? The brake pedal should be solid when it kicks in. No spongy feeling
  9. They need to change to Dunlop tyres too. I don't think they'll get the bike to work into a winning position with the Metzeler's on
  10. You not heard of automatics?
  11. my father in law is that very same. He also lectures you if you drive with anything less than 2 hands on the steering wheel. That is how you are supposed to drive in order to be able to keep full control. I don't see how that can be bad advise.
  12. Where's the fun in that? [emoji6]
  13. If you don't want to do the modules then you can re-do your CBT as many times as you like. I know your aim is for full licence but just letting you know the is no pressure

    Tyre wear

Can't go wrong with PRs IMO. Should last best part of 8-10000 miles
  15. Is that at normal temp? I've seen my bike up as high as 105*c in heavy traffic in middle of summer and before anyone states it......... I filtered as much as I could
  16. Diablo Super Biker for the iPhone.
  17. Just type any bike you want to look at in Google and you'll find your answer I just typed CBR1000RR dimentions in and then clicked on one of the links, Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CBR1000RR Scroll down a bit and youll get you wheelbase etc
  18. Sign of getting old mate
  19. Cheers Stu!
  20. I've been waiting for my shed to be hooked back up to the electric for 5 weeks now....(long story [emoji49]) so until I can get my battery hooked up to my Optimate while on the bike, what issues, if any, would I have if I just brought the battery in the house? Apart from having to set the clock, would I have to do anything else when putting the battery back in? Would I damage the ECU or anything else like that? How long am I able to keep it off the bike for? Thanks in advance
  21. I took it apart and put a bit of electrical tape over the hole for the mic on the inside. I then put it back together then pushed a tiny bit of cotton wool into the mic hole and finally put electrical tape over the hole. Hope that helps.
  22. Well done you! I'm going to miss all your post of frustration though I told you one day you will look back and laugh. That grin you have will never come off you know.
  23. The examiners don't physically post them. They enter the details onto their PC and then shred the provisional licence.
