1. http:// It's usually just the fruit cakes who like to dress up. Note how small his stature is.
2. It was only the first couple of minutes that were relevant, the rest of the video I fell asleep.
3. Is that Stu in the video?
4. I would've liked to see the rider wearing a parka and maybe a few more mirrors on the [strikeout]Vespa[/strikeout] sorry Honda.
5. BIKERDAD Priceless
6. Good man; motorcycling is all about managing the risk, and I would do exactly the same as you. What bike is it then?
7. Thank goodness we have such law abiding citizens like you Gerontious. What I found about the wannabe plod, is that it looked as though he was using his semi-disguise to open up the traffic for him to make quicker progress than he otherwise would have. It struck me as a motorcyclist, that this dick is a very bad advert for the motorcycling community.
8. MikeHorton What's a nano coating?
9. This bike did not have any blue lights fitted. I don't think there was any ulterior motive for trying to imitate a police bike other than ensuring his ride was not disrupted too much by idiot car drivers. In that respect, you have to sort of admire him. (sort of).
10. Returning from a journey today in the car, I noticed in the rear view mirror a police bike, all the traffic started to behave and tucked into the speed limit. It wasn't until he overtook me that I realised he wasn't plod after all but near as damn it. The bike all resplendent in the familiar plod high vis, white helmet with a cam, rider in high vis, all that was missing were Ariel's and the police logo on the bike. Is this wannabe behaviour legal? I wouldn't mind betting he was riding along with a big hard on. Perhaps I should've posted this in nob of the day section.
11. What's a good brand of Jewish tea? Hebrew.
12. As you've mentioned In your original post, that's the next place I would go...checking valve clearances. I believe they are the lock nut type which should make the task easy.
13. 3D printing is a fantastic tool for prototype work. Create your solid model, print it from cheap material to assess fit form and function, then after design approval (if you need it) use the same solid model after any modifications for production use. IE make from proper spec material and machine on multi axis machine tools.
14. fastbob should be along soon. I wouldn't mind betting he has a good solution.
15. It's something you'll get used to and adapting your riding to suit. Try down shifting by block changing gear with the clutch kept in and use more normal braking. Much easier.
16. The golden era of cricket as far as I'm concerned. In later years, Mrs Smithers threatened divorce many times when the test matches were on TV in the lounge and TMS was on the radio in the kitchen so as not to miss anything. When you heard Brian Johnson and Richie Benaud together on TMS you knew summer was here.
17. I like thrift. I still wear all the Bell staff gear my grandad left me. Not a mark on it. 50 years old and still going strong.
18. I did exact same thing a few years back. I've never laughed so much watching this dick nearly bin his bike.
19. Mrs Smithers eats them all the time. Shhh, just between you me and the forum. PS She only tends to howl at full moon.
20. I haven't got a technical clue about your problem, but the one thing that struck me reading your post, was " cruise on, switch pushed forward, turn on the ignition." Just thinking that cruise unlikely to work until engine running and moving? I'm probably totally wrong, but I'm just relating it to stuff that happens on my bike and car.
21. Local authority expenditure on roads is severely curtailed because of having to meet huge pension and wage bills for the hierarchy. It comes to something when council bosses pay themselves more than the prime minister of the UK.
22. Could it have been this? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7247821/Hunt-horrific-grunting-gimp-man-black-rubbery-suit.html or just a BBC (big black cat)
23. First of all, it was great to see the England cricket team win the ultimate prize in the sport. The one thing that I found not only strange but also annoying, was the cacophony of noise generated by the event organisers (not the supporters) between overs. It gave the impression of being in a fair ground rather than a cricket ground. Anyone else feel the same about this? Or is it just me being biased because I prefer to watch county and test cricket.
24. One of the best British F1 GP I've seen. Well done Lewis, what a brilliant driver we have.
25. Six30 Your Greek is better than mine.
