8. To be fair though it does state it will last for upto 2 years, if it is replaced after 18 months or so as regular maintanence, then there should be no issues, as in Stu case the sealant was in for a good few years by the sounds of it, and was well past it's best
9. It never repaired my puncture so I'll never be using that stuff again I did use something similar for a car i had, never did get the tyre changed it worked for at least two years

Chain Lubricant

I think i use that well is smells of bananas anyway, i usually give it a few of good coats and literally have it dripping
11. Hi Mate It is worth checking the front sprocket nut as these are often secured with a washer that bends over and the shaft is splined. Just thinking that if the nut did spin loose it could be a disaster. Hopefully I am wrong ! Cheers Ian Not the front sprocket already checked the main possibilities not to worry if it's something crucial i'm sure i will soon find out
12. i will get something up when i get the chance and i will have to try and source some pictures from the web as i only took a couple of photos myself
13. Bridget is all back together now, just finished the last few jobs, cleaning and refitting the front sprocket cover and the chain guard, and i only have a couple of bits left over , one is a locking washer but for a splined bolt or something and a little plastic bung no idea where that goes so overall pretty happy, she just needs a good clean and polish now
14. the bottle was probably left as in case of emergency if you happen to come across him again Great story
15. Massive no from me! They can corrode alloy! So much so I have had to replace a wheel because of the stuff What about in tubed tyres as it's not in direct contact with any metal unless you get a puncture?.
