  1. I went out last night got as far as Holme on Spalding Moor and not wanting to be out too late headed home via Selby, roadworks and road closure on the A19 meant having to detour via Snaith and back towards Thorne, saw some foxes and a i think a Fallow deer, will check the video footage later as i am just tranferring it to the computer, i think my next night ride i will do a coastal one
  2. Save your money and get a cheap 50cc runabout for him to use and learn on, bikes like the RS4 are thief magnets and almost certainly he will drop it at some point and the repair bill could be quite steep, then trade it in for a 125 when he turns 17 his CBT will still be valid for another year then he can use the 125 to do his A1 test
  3. Going to get my rod licence next week
  4. Doing the same, done my bit of stay at home and stay safe shite, my mental health needs looking after now
  5. ....not sure if it will come into effect here as we have supposedly left the EU now, but we may follow suit https://www.femamotorcycling.eu/a2-motorcycle-licence/

  11. Well it's either the Indian or a Goldwing
  12. Order a refurb kit, and just get it to work for now with a clean https://www.wemoto.com/bikes/honda/xlr_125_rw/98-01/picture/starter_motor_repair_kit
  13. The brushes are sticking, same happened to my CG125, replaced the internals with a refurb kit from wemoto after i stripped and cleaned it first just to get it working
  14. Geez! that video was pants , take the the starter off and give the internals a good clean, just make sure to find the alignment marks on the casing so that you can reassemble in the right place No need to strip it down as much as the following vid, just make sure that the brushes are free and able to move and grease up any metal moving parts except for the electrical contacts
  15. Yes they do, but not worth reporting if you have a high excess, and once you claim your premium will sky rocket
  16. Better still leave it on the bike where it is
  17. I very rarely use gloves except when using some power tools, but i always use a barrier cream when doing the oily stuff makes it so much easier to wash off, E45 is a good which i am using as my missus has plenty
  18. You can tour on just about any bike, some are more suited than others, and the type of terrain you will come across can also affect your choice of bike or at least tyre choice, which will also determine your bike choice to some degree, have a look on Youtube at touring videos and see what bikes are being used in the different parts of the world, but remember nothing is set in stone and there are no hard and fast rules to obey regarding what bike is best
  19. Hello and welcome
  20. I have heard of it but never watched it, will have a look for a torrent or freenet link for them
