  1. They sell washing up bowls in Poundland. Not going to queue for hours at Poundland, Halfords straight in and out there was over dozen queueing all for cycling only me there for motoring, getting to like this social distancing, i noticed J & S was busy as i went past it to go to Halfords
  2. Just got back from Halfords again this time for some oil and a drainer, second service is overdue so will be on with that later, oil and filter change, new spark plug and valve clearances as well as any other bits that need checking and inspecting
  3. Next base record speed with video, you can't turn it off, you can stop it displaying but the daya is still there. I don't speed so no worries there
  4. I bought a Nextbase 222 yesterday and it comes with 2 mounts a permanent sticky and a suction used the sticky on the bike screen and can use the suction in the car, not a bad bit of kit really and vibration is minimal ordered a polarising filter for it to reduce screen glare, really happy with it so far
  5. Found a gift card and was still valid so i bought a dash cam , on the way back from halfords i lost my gears except for 1st, pulled in and discovered it was a loose bolt on the linkage quick nip up to get home and proper tighten at home and all is well got my gears back might have a ride later to test the dash cam the one i got was a Nextbase 222 £55 but only had to put £15 towards it as the gift card had £40 on it, i love these little surprises
  6. 125cc bikes are built to suit the current A1 licence requirements, if you are licenced to ride a more powerful bike then rather than f**k about with a 125 ride something with more HP
  7. I suggest you contact admin about advertising, as all your posts seem to have a link promoting your business
  8. I would just get a high tensile set screw the same size from toolstation couple of quid and swap out the other side as that would probably snap at some point too pick a size from the drop down menu https://www.toolstation.com/high-tensile-set-screw/p88418

    Hi

    Hello and welcome
  10. Fill in the relevent parts on the V5 i would expect the section on scrapping the vehicle would be it, but you must remember that is the frame that is registered to you, so even if you sell all the parts off it but still have the frame you still own it, if you sell the frame the V5 has to be transferred with it

    Hello

    Hello and welcome
  12. Tested the screen and it works really well, i usually have a bit of buffeting but had none at all with the screen the sat nav held up well but will need to adjust the volume a bit louder as it was a little low and got drowned out a little by the wind noise, had a slight hiccup though when i got back home took my helmet off and i thought the earphones were around my neck, they must have dropped off while i was unloading and accidently stood on them, never mind though will pick up some more on Monday when i go shopping Rode to The Trent Port Hotel at Gainsborough so i gave everything a good old test
  13. This afternoon will be testing the newly fitted screen to see if holds up and test out the sat nav, it's an old one but still works fine and has a socket for headphones so will trying out some earphones that i have with it, just have to remember to unplug them before i get off the bike

  19. My stainless steel P clips arrived today so i was able to finally fit the screen to Xena Makes it easier for me to mount the sat nav too

  21. Found this from a google search As a rough guideline: 80 psi - blown up or completely worn out 100 psi - extremely low 120 psi - time to swap rings 150 psi - rings in good condition for stock engine 180 psi - rings in good condition for tuned (highcompression) engine (may need 98RON fuel) 200 psi - rings in good condition for highly tuned (veryhigh compression) engine ( definitely needs 98RON fuel)
