JackieOWheels When in Cornwall I was living in a static caravan in an old farmyard, there was 2 lads who lived in the main house who repaired it for me a couple of times (I still rode it with no insurance even after being caught ) so I left it with them when I moved back north. I was glad to be shot of it by then actually! It was woefully underpowered and was always breaking down in different ways. Had to walk home plenty of times if I couldn't get a workmate with a van to pick me up. Edit: this post was accidently edited by a carless mod

No insurance!? How did you get away with it, was the bike insured to anyone at least?
-
I bet we would never have seen this video if the 2nd rider absolutely wiped that police officer out when it collided with the 1st rider, the officer doesn't look very bright to step out when visibility is poor.

A2 TO FULL LICENCE. HELP
JackieOWheels replied to Yamahamt012345's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
If you have got your A2 license, you will not need to re-sit the theory test again, you will need to retake mod1 & mod2. -
It looks like a bicycle/motorbike hybrid as the bike has pedals and the demonstrator pedaled for a bit. Looks so weird like others have said.

How high does it go up on your bike, I've always wondered how high they go up and wasn't sure if I should get ones that big? Plus back then I only had a CBR + new rider so didn't want my vision of the tachometer blocked so opted for the smaller ones. Biggest one I ever had I could rest my chin on top of the tank bag..... Was it comfortable after long period of riding? -

I messed up with my tax as a kid and desperately need advice.
JackieOWheels replied to Kinkai's topic in Motorbike Chat
I think it would have been worst if you were caught with the bike on the road where it wasn't taxed or with valid insurance. You could always plead that you stored the bike away before MOT was due and left it in storage and forgot about it; which is what you kind of did anyway. -

It would be better if the mods change it to their profile photos, I mean funnier!

That's how I imagine them as I posted it. Lol, well done RantMachine

@XTreme have you seen this shite .... this is the caliber of our new mods ... happy to sit through bake off cause the mrs says so ..... lord help us It's pitiful behaviour........but pitiful appears to be what @Stu is looking for! But surely not being able to watch what he wants to watch means he is probably spending more time on this forum moderating which in effect is what Stu is looking for. #CheckMate (jokes)

We just have to accept our new fate. We just have to picture the mods with the photo below (except on bikes):

Tank bag suggestions?
JackieOWheels replied to Breezin's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
I have an Oxford magnetic tank bag, M15r, I've used it during the Winter time to substitute as a backpack and it worked well for the time I have used it. I've never been caught out in the pouring rain though so can't comment on how waterproof they are though. It does come with a waterproof linear that goes over the bag so in theory it should be OK. -
CBT Renewal
JackieOWheels replied to WilsonT27's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
Yeah, I can't seem to find anything on the GOV website that mentions about extending the CBT certificate date. The fact that they are not extending the theory test certificate makes it likely they probably won't be extending the CBT certificate. I would advise it is best you give DVSA a call/email and check with them. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-driving-tests-and-theory-tests -
No probs, I've added the one for BSB just there.
