1. I thought it was a scooter from reading the post name but @Six30 is right, that looks like a proper bike without gears! It has Six gears. Oh! I has gears, I thought it was like a traditional scooter where it was just twist and go. I stand corrected! Thanks for letting me know Gerontious
2. I'm surprised that eBay forced you to refund the buyer when they didn't even return the iPod, what a joke if that is how the treat the seller!

4. I'm more interested in knowing how OP got a hold of this photo of him in that picture when he is in the background?
5. It feels like we are talking to the Riddler, I can't make any sense of what bike OP is going to get
6. Personally I don't think it's enough either, most the time folk break down when they are miles away from home. From personal experience that this!
7. I would stay clear from any Chinese brand bikes. I've heard bad things about the reliability on them.
8. I bet it's cause he was 1/4 mile away from his home right, full coverage?? What a nice guy though!
9. I could see the Neotec2 is a flip up helmet. Did you order it on the same size as what you normally wear or did you go a size up? I have the exact same problem with mine but I had ordered a size up and have the same problems you have. I never noticed it before but after having worn a full face helmet since the start of this year, going back to the flip one hurts my head. I believe the padding will eventually form to the shape of your head so it may improve after you wear it for a bit longer. I would try a size down though if it is still get a chance to swap it?
10. What about TP only then? I'm sure it would be cheaper? Unless £4k is TP Only!
11. My CBR125 has that problem too, when I'm gear up the bike drops speed too and when I drop down a gear when I'm at that speed, the rev counter is almost red lining on 4th. It usually only happens if I am not doing a smooth acceleration or if I forget what gear I'm in (my bike is that old). Generally if I gear up smoothly and the road conditions are good, the speed will go up without dipping when I go up the gears.
12. Hello, I believe there is already another post on this already? https://www.themotorbikeforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=63097
13. Hey McLovin! Looking on the Honda website, it appears the new CB125R has ABS. Do you think that's what you are feeling when you are breaking to slow your bike down? I doubt the bikes you rode on your CBT would have that on theirs.
14. I was going to say, 35mph for 4 yr old, I'm not sure her parents are going to approve! Do they even make helmets that small?
15. I like thrift. I still wear all the Bell staff gear my grandad left me. Not a mark on it. 50 years old and still going strong. The only way we will believe it is if you take a photo of you and your gear with today's newspaper!?
16. Hoping to hear good things, I'm in the market for a new cover so would like to know what the others think.
17. I guess it's true what they say, buying quality does beat buying on budget as they do tend to last longer. I've invested a lot on body armour alone so I'd opted to purchase just standard jackets and trousers to compensate for it for the time being. I'll love to own a quality jacket and trouser set down the road one day.
18. That is indeed a good price for that Rukka set for those who are in the market for new gear and that their sizing is available. (I could get the jacket but the trouser isn't available in my size)
19. Ah! So the discount is on their eBay store. I believe we were looking on the main website. There is a 5% Off on the main website just now. Will check their eBay store.
20. Found them! The ones in bold will contain the same questions for both - alertness - attitude - safety and your vehicle - safety margins - hazard awareness - vulnerable road users - other types of vehicle - road conditions and vehicle handling - motorway driving - rules of the road - road and traffic signs - essential documents - incidents, accidents and emergencies - vehicle loading. 21. I found the bike test quite a bit different to the car test. A lot of the revision and questions in the test covered riding. Things like braking distances, hazards when using a bike (manhole covers etc.), observations. So it was different to the car Yup, but the highway questions, what to do in event of accidents and road signs/weather conditions would appear on both. There are individual sections on what they are but I don't know what they are just now.
22. Looking good! What's the top speed for those bikes?
23. When I was riding my brother's 50cc scooter not long after I passed my CBT, I didn't know you had to pull the front brake to start it, I thought the battery had died so I'd called my brother to come get me to jump start it, I must have subconsciously held the front brake to start it earlier as I was in a supermarket car park during Winter when I "broke down". He never told me you needed to do that and didn't query it either as the scooter had been sitting unused for over 3-4months too at that point. I've never told him this, but amateur hour, I'll know next time.
24. MCE but because it was a third party at fault its going threw Plantech. Who have messed up the paperwork about five times now. I have signed more paper work than I can count. I don't know plantech, but I expect they are as bad as mce and their associates - don't underestimate how dodgy these guys are. For my claim mce used a examworks investigations for initial paperwork - they are a subsidiary of a huge American medical fraud investigation firm with a shocking reputation. They used jp Morris engineers to assess the damage/repair costs. Morris's damaged my bike in transit, then massively overestimated the repairs required (while refusing to give a breakdown of prices) to guarantee the bike would be a write-off. Based on big standard bikes for sale at similar age/mileage/condition my bike's replacement cost would have been £3000-£3500. mce refused to budge on the guide prices, offering £1500 ( after several attempts to reduce the payment for fictional discrepancies). After the excess I got £1100. Their salvage/buyback amount was about £800 so I didn't bother going that route. They later sold my written off bike for around£1000 on eBay. So when you add in my £300 policy cost you can see why they treat their customers like shit and do their best to screw them over. Can't speak for other countries, but uk insurance is a rip off and in some cases it's legalised fraud. As said, be careful, gather as much evidence of their incompetence or dirty tricks, and go to the ombudsman within 6 months. I have seen engineer use that practice to overestimate repair costs for parts when they are trying to write off a bike, they tend to do it more when the bike is over 10 years old as they believe it is not safe to put them back on the road. I think the best thing to do in an event of an accident would be to have the bike moved to your repairers for them to get an estimate done, they tend to have had more time inspecting all the damage so the estimate would reflect that over the insurance engineer who would spend around 30-45mins looking over the bike. You would be able to challenge the engineer's assessment further down the line.
