1. Rich, how long did you have the eliminator till you ran the bike to the ground? I had it for 4 odd years and sold it to my best mate for £170 who then decided to undo all my hard work of customizing the bike and put it back to standard and got nearly £900 but it did have nearly 60k miles on the clock in those 4 years Lol, I hope you didn't give your mate those original parts too or he got you good for that sell price. That bike sure has done a lot of miles, it's impressive if it's still going!

3. Yikes! Then like others have said, take it easy on the ride out then. I've ridden up to 100miles in one day and I thought it was pretty heavy going, however not all of it was country road riding too, not sure how I would handle if majority of the road is NSL. Sorry for my naivety what is nsl? My bad, it is National Speed Limit, I meant country road riding for the majority of the way home.
4. Ride safe out there! @Rkel1988 have you ever ridden that distance before or close to it? Nope not even close i do possibly do 15 miles a day commuting. I do it regularly in a car but its obviously very different. Yikes! Then like others have said, take it easy on the ride out then. 5. I think Tim actually working for the AA would know whether it's safe to post on Facebook or twitter about it! Exactly , Having posted this on the works internal system it raised a lot of acknowledgement to that patrol who also managed to locate who it was and they are aware of the thanks . The guy truly is the AA hero at work now!

7. I'm training with BikeRite, great bunch of folk, has really taught me how to be safe out on the road. I did most my DAS training in Hamilton but taking my Mod2 in Govan,
8. Thanks for all the input Shadow125 I'm sitting my mod2 next week so pretty nervous!! I should hopefully be OK though. fingers cross folks. Can't figure out where the 40 road would be on that route though, hmmm.
9. Yes, Amazon prime is available but they won't guarantee next day delivery, its good for the movies and music though Ah, as a matter of interest, do you know if it's a two day delivery then?
10. I agree with rennie on this, I'll give the guy a chance, he's going to need it!
11. amazon prime is available anywhere as its video on demand too, if you can get things delivered for free as part of I don't know the answer to that. Yup, interested to know about the next day delivery for IOM.
12. I'm actually quite interested if Amazon Prime is available on IOM. please let us know when you find out for us, manxie49
13. I would have counter offered again for £169.50. Yes I did think about it but lost patience with stupid ebayers *clicks fingers*, could have been 40p richer!
14. Lets be honest, the country is a mess, whoever was going to be PM is going to have a very difficult road ahead!
15. All of them are Rich, but that's why they are a good investment as they are built to last...
16. Ah! I see, did you even go on any NSL, I can't see how that route would have any unless you took the Clyde tunnel expressway,
17. I agree with S-Westerly on this one, Kriega are great bags!
18. Thanks for the input Shadow125, where is Indic? Do you mean the Hillington Industrial estate?

20. Hi Andy-Leics Like Snod Blatter says, we would recommend you take some training courses just to get yourself familiar with riding again as 32 years is a long time to just come back to a bike that you may soon find is too powerful for you, especially as a lot as changed since then! It's like the scenario with folk who haven't driven a car for that length of time but goes and buys a sports car.
21. WTF! Was it even the same PSP. Stories like these makes me think we need to be more cautious as the general public is not the be trusted. It is ridiculous. We contacted Ebay and they said "well the buyer said it's not working" Our answer was we have proof it was working so they must of broken it" We said to Ebay we weren't comfortable with giving our address out and they gave it to the buyer anyway. It's certainly making me think twice about selling any electrical goods on eBay now; not that I ever sell anything on it but it does make me question if I would now, Gumtree is probably more reliable as you would need to see the buyer in person so you can in theory show them it is working, plus once the transaction is done, the trade is complete!
22. almost.. it has a traditional gearbox. with 2 clutches. 1 controls the even gears, the other the odd gears. changes are made with zero loss of power. click click click. When the bike is in 1st gear... its also already in 2nd and waiting. like a Porsche 911 Carrera. the image shows the down paddle. the up paddle is out of sight. c4.jpg My Africa twin has a DCT transmission.. its an absolute hoot. difficult to see.. but no gear foot pedal. Learning something new every day on this forum. I would love to try that out when my skills improve (and when I have a full license).

24. Thanks! Gerontious So essentially the same as a scooter but with additional buttons to go up and down gears.
25. I would say it's a scooter as the foot position is the same as what a scooter is like, there is no rear back break pedal from looking at that photo however I may not be seeing it? *awaiting further input*
