We all did back in the day lol. Wouldn`t be surprised if nanny state has changed things since then though. Bet unrestricted AP50`s or FS1E`s are a fair price now. Cheers Ian
  3. He is a nice guy and I am sure you will be ok. Cheers Ian

  5. Wot no beer for the journey ? Cheers Ian
  6. If Malton near York is better for you I would give John Warrington a call. A very nice guy and very knowledgeable. Cheers Ian
  7. Just looked on Wemoto and friction and steel clutch plates come up at about £100 so if you are planning on keeping the bike for the forseeable future it seems a reasonable price to me. Good luck with whatever you decide and enjoy the trip. Cheers Ian
  8. Totally agree with this suggestion and indeed its why our trip this year will be the reverse route as laid out. We will arrive Santander then after an overnight stop near Bilbao take a relaxing trip over the Pyrenees via Andorra to Perpignan then onto our base for the next week in Minnevois and return via Calais with a stop off enroute. Cheers Ian
  9. Damn I paid the dealer extra for a backrest and rack lol. She is fun especially between about 60 and 90 though. Cheers Ian

  11. I have owned the Tiger 1050 and now the 1200Gtpro and if it is anything like it`s bigger siblings then the Tiger 660 will be well worth a test ride. Cheers Ian
  12. Very cool. Thanks as I said we are still planning the route so most appreciated. Cheers Ian
  13. A hill .......................................................... In Norfolk ??? lol. Cheers Ian
  14. Thanks for that I will have a good read of that. Cheers Ian
  15. Really interested in this as spent last night planning a route from Santander over the mountains to the Carcassone area via Andorra for Sept this year. Any suggestions will be gratefully received. Cheers Ian
  16. You are not alone, the same appears to be happening down here. Hence my recent purchase of a 2005 CG125 to do up and see if the other half will take to being on the front end the way she took to the rear lol. My rationale was that as it`s a Honda I will be unlikely to lose on it. Cheers Ian
  17. Yes I had forgotten the Hel thing, it was a thumb operated unit under the left grip if I recall? Much enjoyed by the stunters up at Santa Pod. Cheers Ian
  18. Have you tried speaking with the NABD (National Assoc of Riders with a Disability) They should be able to put you in touch with someone. Cheers Ian
  19. Hi Mike The saet is by Viper. The only place I can see images of them these days is the just bandits website but I am sure they are still about. Cheers Ian
  20. Not a bad little bimble and very happy with the improvements. Cheers Ian
  21. We are aiming for a bimble on the ZRX now the tail is back from repairs and Dream Machine paint and I get to try the Dymags !!! Hoping for good weather. Maybe continue running in Tigger on Sunday as weekends from now are going to be back working on the house lol. Cheers Ian
  22. Name and shame if there is any more grief ! Ironically I have dealt with timber frame companies a lot over the last 30 or so years and I feel they only come in 2 varieties Absolute brilliant or absolute cr*p with no in between. Cheers Ian
  23. Sidestand version just needs a hinged circular end to be padlocked round the lower frame rail and a solid circular end for the stand to be passed through. I am sure it won`t be quite that simple lol. Cheers Ian
