Not sure if you are right @Phil1 as I have just found that most Vance and Hines exhausts for example have been updated or revised recently (obviously prices haven`t dropped lol) and some suppliers holding the old model reference numbers are all of a sudden withdrawing them. Cheers Ian

There have been a few videos on you tube about this in the states, mainly Harley dealers saying they are no longer prepared to deal with certain aftermarket suppliers. I wasn`t expecting it this side of the atlantic quite so quick. Cheers Ian

I suspect another way of looking at it is Hondas tend to keep going longer and are therefore prone to age related corrosion. Cheers Ian

Hi @GojuRyu5 nice work so far by the way. The thing on your photos looks like one of those audible indicator bleeper things which used to be fitted to Beemers and some large Kawasakis I wasn`t aware of them on UK spec honda`s but who knows if a previous owner may have fitted. Cheers Ian -

Do you remember the Porshe design lid with the internal visor released in the late 70`s / erly 80`s ? Not road legal but believe it or not I actually had one back in the day. Cheers Ian

As @Mississippi Bullfrog said put the hammer away for a bit. Lube then heat is correct. You have removed the 2 small bolts that secure the plate that slides over the splined output shaft and that assembly is what retains the sprocket. In theory you just lift that washer from the shaft and wriggle the sprocket off. All that is holding you back at the moment is corrosion so lube heat and repeat. Cheers Ian

+1 for Gems been with them for a while following a chat with six30 who was in the motor trade at the time and as it covers the person rather than the vehicle it works for us and they were able to point us in the direction of discounted European cover for when we went away on the Tigger. Cheer Ian

I seem to remember hearing that the young hip things are apparently not using facefook anymore as it`s to much dominated by their parents generation. Personally don`t know if that`s true as I never go there either. Cheers Ian

Not making a profit ! Just heard on the radio that when Van Gogh`s Sunflowers was sold as the most expensive painting ever at Christies (a fair few years ago) it was bought by an insurance company for the art museum they were setting up in their h.q. Couldn`t make it up ffs. Cheers Ian

@manxie49 Is the campsite at the trout farm in Kirk Michael still going? (Clearwater trout farm??). We used to use that as a group with the bikes in a long wheelbase transit and it worked out very slightly less than scandalous if there were 5 or 6 of us going. Cheers Ian -
