  4. Nice stable you have described ! Cheers Ian
  5. Best my 2004 ZRX1200R (Still got it bought new and not for sale) Worst DT400 bought in the eighties and seized on the M3 on the way home lol. Money no object would be the ZRX which I still own but for the sake of this thread I would quite like my XBR500 back that was a lot of fun in london traffic. Cheers Ian
  6. Last years was in my office on site and attracted a lot of comments which were usually positive. Probably something to do with the age of people on building sites lol. Cheers Ian
  7. Merry Christmas all already looking forward to 23 and warmer weather Cheers Ian

  11. Don`t suppose anyone has any swing with Air France or Heathrow ? Just spent the whole day being lied to about the whereabouts of our luggage. Landed back at "Thiefrow" on Saturday evening and although the AF app showed our baggage on board it wasn`t! Been informed that the airport delivery contractor was finally notified of the arrival of our bags this morning (Monday) I have been personally reassured 3 times by the carriers that they would contact their driver for a delivery time, Now we have received and email from DHL to say that they are going to deliver tomorrow and we can`t change delivery details till the bags are in their posession. You have no idea how flaming irate I currently am. Cheers Ian
  12. That so explains your current location! I am jealous lol. Cheers Ian

    Where????

I am also considering Croatia next year possibly Aug/Sep and would be very interested in any information you come up with. My personal alternative would be a Santander into Pyranees tour so my options at this stage are open. Cheers Ian
  14. I wonder if there are any "Bikers pubs " left actually? I have very fond memories of the Railway Hotel in Purley from the late seventies early eighties sadly very much gone now as closed in something like 89 lol. Cheers Ian
  15. I am going to be honest here and I anticipate a flaming from those who haven`t got the guts to admit it. As an ex despatch rider I have probably ridden my luck a little but basically if the car in lane 3 has nowhere to go i.e there is a car in lane 2 then through I go so in that situation speed is irrellevent as I have done my little risk asessment and judge it to be safe (ish)and I ain`t going to admit in a public place at what speed I do this but it works for me and used to be used on the M1 into London daily. In normal traffic if I don`t know where roads join mine from the left then I am cautious but if I believe there is little chance of someone joining or the car I am passing has little or no opportunity to turn right then through I go. It has worked well for the last 43 years and I know I should know better ! Cheers Ian
  16. Your local dealer in Npton normally lets you have it for 1 to 2 hrs and very little pressure so I think you will be fine. Enjoy. Cheers Ian
  17. Hi Mate sorry to hear your still unwell at least you are in the best place. Rest up and get well soon, good luck with the weight loss too as I am sure this will motivate you. Cheers Ian
  18. I would have thought your pannier frames will be ideal for the straps. Also I have used 2 Lomo bags together so I could use smaller bag and have them side by side on pillion. I will have a look for pics in a minute. Cheers Ian
  19. Just erring on the cautious side I would first check out some of the injector cleaners that claim to break down varnish deposits first. At the very worst try reading labels in Halfords see if any of the active ingredients are listed. Cheers Ian
  20. We are going there in 3 weeks and so looking forward to it ! Couldn`t find a bike hire place though, will ask about when we are there. Cheers Ian
  21. Or maybe the vet! Cheers Ian
  22. Can`t you just add it to your parts order for the damage to your bike and sneak it past your boss ? Cheers Ian
