  1. +1 for good independents. Cheers Ian
  2. @Mississippi Bullfrog bear in mind he could be looking at ways of getting his 600 out of the pound on a provisional licence ! So maybe we should help "Wink". Cheers Ian
  3. Don`t bother ! When I first got the supercharged Busa sorted I had it road legal for a while even though it was primarily aimed at Straightliner`s events. I swear it would have been easier to get an arsonist a job in a fireworks factory than getting sense out of some insurers ! In the end that wasn`t the reason I stopped using it on the road lol. Cheers Ian
  4. I would class that as a result ! Just lately I have had to get my late Father`s post redirected to me so I can have him removed from mailing lists and I have lost count of the number of robots I have had to navigate. Cheers Ian
  5. Just had a quick trundle through Wemoto as I was there anyway and the easy bits that I suspect you could easily do yourself are. Plugs 41.52 Air filter 29.52 oil filter 6.24 Sump washer 0.46 oil 44.74 Battery 41.14 If you tackled those yourself it would set you back £163.62 Hopefully reducing your spend with the dealer then factor in tyres as @Mississippi Bullfroghas said and £30 for an MOT and then look at what it`s worth. Good luck with it. Cheers Ian
  6. Sounds about right from a dealership and in fairness it`s roughly what I had in mind if you were close enough to make it a practical proposition. I think you should consider giving some of it or even all a go yourself and then move it on if you have to. Cheers Ian
  7. Whereabouts in the country are you? Cheers Ian
  8. Have a good day ! There will be cider involved. Cheers Ian
  9. Ooh I hope someone breaks it to @Stu gently lol. Cheers Ian
  10. Whatever anyone`s thoughts regards fashion (about which I know Jack). May I be the first to wish you the very best of luck with this. Cheers Ian
  11. Hi Very similar and I will look into the risers although being 6ft ish I might not need them. I spend a lot of time with a passenger so the single seat won't be an option. Cheers Ian
  12. Hi @Grumpy Old Git I see you list your bike as a FLFBS may I ask what year as I have a 2019 one and I am interested if you have made any mods for long distance comfort? Cheers Ian
  13. @fastbob for gawds sake don`t play them the Superglide ! I won`t record Fatty either. Cheers Ian
  14. I have owned more than one SD Darmah and miss them very much but you are right they were loud as fook. Beautiful tone but loud. Cheers Ian
  15. Lol I bet it gets at least an advisory for noise ! Cheers Ian
  16. That`s interesting to know. Sorry I am just old school and would have used it as an excuse to meet the neighbours lol. Cheers Ian
  17. I would start by asking the neighbours if another network has reception in the block and then see if you can trial a mobile dongle for internet access. I once lived in a village that was a dead spot for one provider and was fine for my Voda signal. Cheers Ian
  18. Oh the fun we will be having now that a mod has come out and declared they are doing things on our behalf in the background! It`s not like this place isn`t littered with cynical sarcastic peeps and I include Suggers, Bullfrog, Southwesterly, Mike H, Myself and the Catman Bob as just the start ! Cheers Ian
  19. Totally agree with you @runningman the robbing gits rarely put you back to where you were before the claim even though that`s the sole point of the buggers in the first place. I wonder how many of us would bother with them if it wasn`t a mandatory legal requirement? I would be interested in peoples views. Cheers Ian
  20. @Mickly She is lovely and I always fancied one just like that but I couldn`t justify it alongside Rexy as they do so many things in the same sort of way. Mind you the triple wheelies better lol. Cheers Ian
  21. Had a bit of a MOT day today. 2 of the girls done and all good with only advisories for tyres which are nearing there end date but I new that. Inspector was very impressed with the brakes on Rexy lol. cheers Ian
  22. How about a bed sheet and a basic wooden frame ? Cheers Ian
  23. Any idea of location so we can go and have a chat with her about it ? Cheers Ian
  24. Considerable saving looking on Amazon but a really nice looking boot I might well speak to Sportsbikeshop and test out their price match promise. Cheers Ian
  25. +1 for that comment my Forma adventure boots are about 3 years old now and I can`t fault them. Cheers Ian
