  1. Guys I will throw this open as I have zero experience of generic parts for small bikes. I notice a number of sellers on the bay offering what I presume to be Chinese carbs aimed at small Hondas. I will have soon a 2006 CG125 and as it has undoubtedly stood for a long time it has carb related issues. Is it worth my while getting said new carb or go down the rebuild kit and cleaning route? There is very little financial difference either way. Cheers Ian
  2. Well done for keeping your nerve in what must have been a squeaky bum type situation. Cheers Ian
  3. Who evicted the Hobbits for your stay? Cheers Ian
  4. As suggested by @Grumpy Old Git easy stuff first, try with the fuel tank cap open that will eliminate blocked breather straight away and if symptoms persist straight to an airline and clean the filter. If no joy next thing is to check for a filter in the fuel line going to the injectors and look for restricted flow. Good luck. Cheers Ian
  5. It was called "The St Johns Arms" in Melchbourne North Beds MK44 1BG I believe. I haven`t been there in the last few years but happy to do some on the ground research if needed ! Cheers Ian
  6. I take it Notts/ Derby sort of area is preferable being central ish? I know of a possibility but it`s in North Beds even though it does have the space for camping. Cheers Ian
  7. "BUMP" Any news or planning going on? Cheers Ian
  8. Visit proposed areas and if possible try to air BnB somewhere close by to get to know it a bit better, try pubs etc. It`s amazing how some areas you think you know change when you stay there for a few days especially during a normal working week. Good luck with the search. Cheers Ian
  9. There`s a BMW you may be interested in located in the news thread lol. Cheers Ian
  10. Good to hear your time in further education wasn`t wasted ! Cheers Ian

  12. That`s a totally different thing! Cheers Ian
  13. As with almost anything like this on the net it`s not wrong per se but it is over simplistic. It takes a lot of experience to start diagnosing faults by sound alone and I for one would be looking for a lot of other factors before plumping for a cause and getting the spanners out. Sorry if that`s not much help. Cheers Ian
  14. Arranged some gold Dymags for the Rex. Can`t wait loved the lighter wheels when I had them on the Harris. Cheers Ian
  15. Does this mean we have a little more time to try and get that exceptional shot we have manifestly failed to provide so far? Cheers Ian
  16. Agreed it would be nice if someone could share the details. Some of us won`t go near Facefook on principle lol. Cheers Ian
  17. Hi Mike Actually April to March isn`t a bad call, however why not consider a March to March to hopefully coincide with the start to most of us coming out of hibernation (weather permitting) lol. Cheers Ian
  18. Does anyone know if @dynax (Mike) is OK? I was hoping to be chatting about calendars about now. Cheers Ian
  19. I am sure an air B&B can be found near enough if necessary ! Cheers Ian
  20. That would be just lazy lol. I think the place suggested by @Grumpy Old Git would be fine ! Good to see you back after your sojourn in hospital mate. Cheers Ian
  21. Lol I couldn`t rotate the pic on my phone. Cheers Ian
  22. Happy New year to you all and the rally needs sorting! Cheers Ian
  23. Took new Tigger out for a little bimble to take a few more running in miles off and it was pleasant but blustery to say the least. Really happy with the rear hugger and the front fenda extenda. So much so the panniers are on for a trip to MK tomorrow for some sales shopping hopefully

    NT1100?

Hi Steve I changed from a 1050 Tiger to the 1200 one for exactly the same reason lol. It`s worth exploring other luggage options such as crash bar bags from Lomo to assist your panniers. Cheers Ian
