  1. Quite possibly Bob but I will need to see how I get on with the plastering etc on Saturday. I will drop you a whats app on Sat afternoon. Cheers Ian
  2. @Mickly Thank you very much for letting us know. Oh well back to the plastering lol. Cheers Ian
  3. I think you will be ok. It worked on my old Harley Superglide with the panniers in place. They also seem to last quite well, mine are about three years old and get used for all sorts of things including BBQ`s and patio furniture now I have the bikes in the workshop. Cheers Ian
  4. Hi There I have found these ok in the past and used them on several different bikes. Cheers Ian
  5. Hee Hee be careful Bob has just ridden that one back from Scotland and just for the record I did more mileage on it in 2 years than the previous owner did in something like 7 lol. Cheers Ian
  6. Personally I like these little fellas and I havent found anything better yet. Cheers Ian
  7. Not a bad idea anyway not just bedding in but it's good to listen for any strange noises that could indicate a problem before you need to really hang on them. Cheers Ian
  8. Hi @Mick67 When you get back would you also post your experience at Dover as we are going that way at the end of the month. Thanks in advance. Cheers Ian
  9. Probably best aimed at @SteveM but open to all. Does anyone know if I need to adjust the headlights on the Tiger 150 for French trip or are there deflector strips available? Not planning on much night time travelling but one never knows and I have enough trouble respecting the authorities here let alone ones speaking French lol. Cheers Ian
  10. It`s worth persevering with Air BnB on your phone as we use it quite often and there can be significant savings. Cheers Ian
  11. Hi Bob I will let you know how we get on for time. No never tried to remove the air filter badge so a good result I would have said. Cheers Ian
  12. Are you going both days? I may well be able to do Sunday as I have to fully service the Tiger prior to our French trip and most other days are spent on the house modifications. Cheers Ian
  13. PS @ltf: what are mid controls? You know the mating frog position caused by rearsets and low bars? Some Harleys and other cruisers have the reverse with forward controls and a wind in the willows so to speak. Mid controls are something some models of Harley have so you can have your feet in what we humans refer to as a comfortable position. I will now dive for cover as people point out how comfortable "they" are with the arrangement "they" are using lol. My Harley has footboards further forward than I ever thought would work but strangely they do and my ZRX and my Tiger are what I would call normal or mid. Cheers Ian
  14. Full service, chain and sprockets on the Tiger in preparation for France at the end of the month ! I fully expect there to be some enbuggerance items along the way lol. Cheers Ian
  15. Can we not take lycra clad cyclists who insist on behaving like cnuts to Findus or the glue factory? It rips my knitting when they abandon there Chelsea tractors in the village meet in a pub car park with no intention of giving the landlord some much needed business then head off and think it`s funny to ride 4 abreast on rural roads and cause havoc! I am totally fed up with their behaviour ! Cheers Ian
  16. Hi @Fish what route are you taking to Spain ? We are heading from Calais to Limoges on the 23rd and on to Orlonzac the following day if you fancy some company ? Cheers Ian
  17. Sorry to hear that and I am sure it could have been worse but it don`t feel that way at the moment. I would suggest a good drink and a book/film (Delete for personal prefference) and hopefully it will look better in the morning. Cheers Ian
  18. I don`t know if this will help much but there is a bike ergonomics website that you can put your details into and virtually any model of bike and it generates a sketch showing your positioning. It is great for working out passenger space etc. I will try and remember what it is called. Cheers Ian
  19. Good luck @Fozzie let us know how you get on ! Cheers Ian
  20. A lot of them are interchangeable for instance ZRX to ZZR and vice versa. It might be worth spending a bit of time on Cradley Kawasaki site comparing part numbers and then checking sizing. Cheers Ian
  21. Looking good Sir! If the weather is kind and you have the time let me know if you would like to meet up one evening in the week for a chat and exchange of B.S Lol. Cheers Ian
  22. Strangely reminiscent of Rowan Atkinson lol. Cheers Ian
