4 links too short wouldn`t fit on my Triumph so my suspicion starts to lean toward the place in London trying to drum up business ! As suggested measure the slack as I believe 4 links too short will be more like a guitar string. Cheers Ian
  2. That`s a good move ! I have used the Dynaplug system and it worked so well I won`t leave home without one now. Cheers Ian
  3. Well done and proof that if you keep at it you will succeed ! Cheers Ian
  4. So the maiden fire up following the rebuild is imminent? Cheers Ian
  5. Douglas Adams reference perchance? Cheers Ian
  6. Thanks Mike I get that but all these apps and navs seem to require you to have a route entered which is something I am not doing. The route I am taking is East West and doesn`t quite conform to what Google, Waze Etal think is the right way, so without having to input loads of waypoints I just would like to monitor the road up ahead and I am not sure if my sat nav will do that. Cheers Ian
  7. Hi I am sort of aiming this at @Stu because I think he uses one. My question is I am taking a fairly long trip on mostly A roads and I don`t require guidance as it`s a route I have used dozens of times, however I want to know if it is feasible to have the Tomtom just turned on and take advantage of the warning of upcoming speed cameras that may have been installed whilst I wan`t using the route regularly. Many thanks in advance. Cheers Ian
  8. Yes @Bianco2564 I saw you arrive! I was at the memorial where you turned right and got held up going from 2 abreast to single file and tried to say hello but not quite possible lol. Glad you saw the Jota it was out of the way. Cheers Ian
  9. @Bianco2564 I thought your 380 looked great by the way. We turned up quite early as I had some shopping I had to get done so we used Tigger as that was the best load hauler lol. Cheers Ian
  10. I feel a change coming on lol. Cheers Ian
  11. Hi Guys My 2005 Busa showing 16k miles and very cossetted life. Comes with full Akroprvic and original in boxes, pillion seat pad, original pillion pegs and a small ECU modification to remove the restriction (as if that would ever be necessary on our roads lol. MOT last Sept but more than happy to do another. Anyone interested before I start the deep clean and advertising palava please feel free to get in touch. @Stu if this should be moved to another area please feel free. Cheers Ian
  12. Looks like the weather will be ok. Are you going to use the 380? I have very fond memories of one of those from back in the day (Suzuki Beddington Lane 1979/80) lol. Cheers Ian
  13. You and Count Dracula both lol. A fine choice. Cheers Ian

  16. Hopefully make this one too. Cheers Ian
  17. I`m not sure I get how they would know the ABS was cutting in and anyway as @Mississippi Bullfrog said it is a normal function of the braking system and if the road surface was less than ideal which lets face it they usually are then I think it is designed as a rider aid and safety device and therefore why penalise someone? Cheers Ian
  18. I was an AP50 in blue (TGT 339R ) ! Back in the day we all started off that way and we all turned out "Normal" ish. Cheers Ian
  19. @Stu is totally correct ! Do not involve your insurance if you don`t have to but don`t trust theirs so record everything and if they become involved trust your insurer even less ! Cheers Ian
