  1. I somehow doubt it ! Cheers Ian
  2. Be careful I have heard of circumstances where p**eys were using them to scope out houses for breaking into later. Maybe the .22 would be a good precaution. Cheers Ian

    Welcome paulc

@Six30 At least let him get in and take off his coat before you start (twat !) @paulc tinkerers and shed dwellers are always welcome here. Cheers Ian
  4. when we don`t wat to be using a satnav. Reposted for the hard of reading ! Cheers Ian
  5. While we are discussing navigation and avoiding @Stu and his blatant product pushing. Has anyone found a simple app that will sit in the background and just give a loud bleep or other noise if approaching a speed camera/ mobile camera/ average speed cameras ? Surely by now such a simple thing can be available for us even when we don`t wat to be using a satnav. Cheers Ian
  6. I enjoy doing different things over Christmas and as the weather hasn't favoured a festive bimble I have been playing with some modelling (calm down @dynaxlol). Cheers Ian
  7. You are giving good advice there @TimR I would suggest @gymwitch buys you a beer and picks your brain. Cheers Ian
  8. Thanks for the clarification ! I was scratching my head there. Trust me I confuse easy! Cheers Ian
  9. Possibly going to be going down in flames but I thought that pic was culled from the film "The Midwitch Cuckoos". Is that the same thing? Cheers Ian
  10. STIHL MS180 Petrol Chainsaw 31.8CC 14" 35CM Tree Surgery Prune Cutter Heavy Duty 886661185245 | eBay
  11. The Stihl all day long ! Probably a long way from the cheapest but seem to be the choice of pro tree surgeons. If electric as using at home I would suggest canvassing the opinion of people like Browns of Leighton Buzzard as they are the biggest agricultural equipment suppliers I know of. Hope that helps. Cheers Ian
  12. I wouldn`t mind betting that is about standard or even a bit low given a retailers costs etc. Cheers Ian
  13. I can`t argue with your logic. Still gonna drain air from tank when leaving garage though Cheers Ian
  14. I can quite believe that ! Probably just me not trusting previous owners. Oh yeah and seeing the state of the water that drains out. Cheers Ian
  15. Fair comment but in reality both are dodgy. My gas bottles would to live in an old toolsafe that I found on site recently at bottom of garden. A full compressor just makes me nervous especially as mine was secondhand (ex hire company) and I don`t know how often previous owner drained the excess water out lol. Cheers Ian
  16. I don`t like leaving compressors full let alone constantly turned on, too much like having a bomb hiding in the garage. Cheers Ian
  17. Just so difficult to get down to those kind of ratios particularly in winter/spring in the kind of garages/sheds we traditionally us as amateurs. I am sure professional spray shops can achieve those great figures. I think we just have to be careful and take as many precautions like warming and prep as we can. Cheers Ian
  18. I tend to agree. 50% isn`t too bad for spraying this time of year, maybe the sad face is for other applications? Cheers Ian
  19. Quick tip for the beef we once had a period without an oven and discovered that beef done in the pressure cooker was excellent as so much flavour was sealed in ! Hope you all have a great feast and snooze lol. Cheers Ian
  20. Merry christmas guys ! Have a cool yule. Cheers Ian
  21. "A" preview being the operative word lol. Bet @Six30 was pleased ! Cheers Ian
  22. I wonder how long before @dynaxrocks up on Xena with mine? I want to know who`s bikes are in it too. Cheers Ian
  23. Love it ! Thank you. Merry xmas to you and yours. To Everyone on here as well ! Cheers Ian
  24. I must confess I have had a few early Ducs but from this era I thoroughly enjoyed riding a 748 like a complete headcase on road and track. It flattered you and terrified in equal proportions. Cheers Ian
  25. You are quite right we have wandered off piste again ! Sorry. Cheers Ian
