    Ukraine

Russia are doing the same thing that Kennedy and the USA did at the time of the Cuban missile crisis! ... They don't want NATO missiles in their backyard!
  3. I always start with a comparison site like Gocompare.
  4. Something I have been thinking about too! Notts Blood Bikes require IAM, RoSPA gold or an Enhanced Rider Scheme pass. I was intending to do the ERS anyway, so I need to figure out whether I want to commit the time!
  5. My Oxford grips start to get warm after 1 minute with bare hands.
  6. I would say that the bike is yours until your insurance company pays up! It will cost you around £150 to get it out of the pound!

    Ybr125 problem

If you have no electrics check out all the connections and your fuses. Its unclear in your post but it sounds like it starts and runs but then cuts out. If that's the case then it could be a fuel or electrical problem.
  8. My son uses Goop in his mountain bike and says he has never had a problem!
  9. I'll try some Goop and cross my fingers. .. I'm in the AA if it doesn't work. I may consider converting the wheels to tubeless when the time comes for new tyres.
  10. Can you insure it and have her as a named rider?

    Dented rim

I wouldn't ride it as it is! .. It needs to be repaired either by yourself(if you're handy at metalwork) or professionally.
  12. I've just got back from the local where the Mrs and I both had fish and chips, lemon meringue pie, a pint of Stella and a glass of wine all for £28 .. I think you have just been mugged!
  13. How do you prepare for a puncture? Do you carry spare tube/s and tyre levers or do you use something like goop or slime? I have changed tubes many years ago on a Bantam but I'm not sure if I fancy doing it on a Tiger.
  14. Be careful, it's quite flimsy as its made of thin tube steel not not solid bar. There's a Triumph Tiger group on facebook that may be able to offer some advice on repair/replacement.
  15. All helmets sold in the UK must meet the British standard or ECE. I have two helmets .. one cost £80 (polycarbonate) and another cost £300 (carbon fibre). Both fit well and are comfortable with the main difference being the carbon helmet is lighter and there is less wind noise.
  16. Fed up with cold hands and stopping to warm them on the exhaust so Oxford Hotgrips fitted this morning!
  17. Or maybe an Isuzu Big Horn?
  18. YBR 125? ... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/294529564544?hash=item4493547f80:g:1jsAAOSwulZheEbo Just noticed it was a Cat C so may need to ask a few more questions.
  19. I wear glasses and yes they do mist up sometimes. All I do is open the visor a smidge and they clear straight away.
  20. Started in my 20's with a BSA Bantam! ... But never took my test until I was well into my 60's
  21. You're never too old! .. I would suggest you wait for some nicer weather but get it done! https://www.rideto.com/cbt-training/hounslow
  22. Sold my BMW R1100rs and bought a Triumph Tiger 800xc. Just need some half decent weather so I can go for a decent ride.
  23. If the thief has the right tool your bike is never safe!
  24. Even if there is no damage it will cost the owner £150 to get it out of the police pound!
