  1. Further update .. Police caught 2 scrotes riding it! It will be interesting to see what they get charged with and what sentence/penalty, if any, they get.
  2. Good news! .. The Police have found his bike! Bad news! .. According to the Police its in a "bad condition"! They found it in Worksop, 10 miles away from where it was stolen.
  3. I agree .. Steal £1500 from a bank and I'm sure you would get the Police all over it and if caught jail time! .. Steal a vehicle of the same value and the Police don't bother and if caught its a slap on the wrist!
  4. Ollerton .. A shithole of a place.
  5. I had a car stolen when I was in New Zealand. They were caught and I was asked if I wanted to meet with them as part of the Restorative Justice system. I said I would love to as long as I could bring along my baseball bat! I was not allowed to meet with them!
  6. He knows that .. He's getting a car until he moves from the area and gets a garage!
  7. He's lucky that it was only a cheap(but good) cbr 125. .. Its the inconvenience and the fact his no cliams is now gone. He was remarkably calm about it... If it was mine I would want bloodshed and revenge!
  8. My son went to go to work this morning and found this where his bike should be! ..
  9. Still E5 at my local Tesco today! .. I'm sure it will change as soon as the tank of E5 has been sold.
  10. If you have put the original springs back in then surely the oil viscosity has to be the issue? Or too much oil
  11. You need a full category A motorbike licence to ride trikes with a power output more than 15kw https://www.gov.uk/ride-motorcycle-moped
  12. Its not bad for a 24 yr old bike .. 39,000 miles .. Just a few scratches on the panniers and the heated grips don't work, apart from that it seems OK.
  13. After selling the little Honda I noticed that the ER5 looked lonely in the garage so I went out and bought this! ...
  14. S-Westerly ... Why sad? Is it because I sold the CG? .. Or because I may get a BMW?
  15. Sold the CG125 .. Buyer was happy! I was happy! .. Now on the lookout for something to take its place in the garage .. BMW maybe.
  16. Have you managed to get a MOD 2 slot? .. They're as rare as rocking horse shit in Notts.
  17. Just taken both bikes for an MOT this morning .. Both passed with no advisories! Result!
  18. I used to use Eurocamp or Canvas holidays donkeys years ago for overnight stops on the way to the south of France. I found them both very good value. Do Eurocamp still do overnight stops? or is there a minimum stay (3 nights)? Your best bet would be to give them a call.
  19. Only the very rich and the very stupid vote Tory .. I can't believe that the 12,973 that voted Tory are all very rich! They need to check their wallets to see which category they are.
  20. If the voters there are anything like the thick as mince ones in Hartlepool I despair! In Hartlepool the voters blamed Labour for austerity, lack of Police, Hospitals etc ... I don't think they knew that the Tories had been in power for the last 11 years!
  21. As he seems keen I think we should encourage the guy to ride to the test centre on his bike and see if he gets to take the test! It will answer a lot of questions that others ask! Of course should it all go well and he passes Mod1 I can't see him getting a Mod 2 slot before his 17 July deadline.
  22. If the place is anything like the one in Nott'm they wouldn't know whether you rode it or pushed it. They would know that your not with a school though and may want to check your insurance. If you have insurance the safest bet would be for a friend to get the bike to the centre .. If you get caught riding it without a licence you may lose it before you even pass your test!
  23. If you can find one then a Honda XL125V Varadero might be a good choice. https://www.motorcyclenews.com/bike-reviews/honda/xl125v-varadero/2001/
