  1. I'd recommend the train over parking a bike around that part of London. Just a suggestion.
  2. It's been ok, the right sleeve does get caught on the velco and has sort of ruined it.
  3. Richa replaced an old Infinity jacket that leaked badly, yet meant to be waterproof. As it was new, the store kept it and I upgraded to an Alpinestars goretex.
  4. That's clothing in general. Some brands fit loose, some fit tight.
  5. Not such a drinker these days, but I do have my moments. The insulation is a work in progress and will have some OSB fitted once each side is completed. Not bad only taking 2 hours includeing all the cutting down to flush against the sides. 4 full tiles over which are under the sunn day bike, then a few offcuts used for the daily.
  6. Empty the shed, sweep it out, apply sealant on the floor, laying the rubber flooring and putting everything back. Should only take about 5 months to complete
  7. Took a little trip down to HM Racing in Edenbridge for a suspension setup on my XSR. Due to rider weight options have to be investigated, and I didn't think that I was that heavy compared to some. Guess Yamaha do the suspension setups for the average 50kg adult.
  8. Simple little mod of moving the rearsets on the XSR from the lower to upper position and took a test ride. A little more sporty position, but after an hour in the saddle nothing to moan about.
  9. So a colleague and myself will be taking a little trip down to Estoril for the WSBK round in October. Getting the boat from Portsmouth to Santander, then ride down over 4 days, watch the racing then 5 days coming back. Interested to know of any possible routes worth taking. Just need to decide if I want to get panniers for the XSR900 or just take the already kitted Tracer 700.
  10. I have an Akrapovic on my Tracer 700 (same engine), sounds suit what I'm looking for. Scorpion and Delkavic also sound decent, again this is my opinion. If you want cheap and loud you're looking at Black Widow or eBay specials. A lot comes down yto your budget
  11. both sound like the have just left the farm yard
  12. Size up or take work clothes in a rucksack
  13. When you receive an award for customer service, and the choice of companies you can get vouchers for don't include anything motorcycle related
  14. Some would not agree with that thought
  15. Gave it a wash after an allday bimble.
  16. I can recommend the Knox Urban Pro 3 jacket.
  17. Not a hoodie, but a Knox Urban Pro 3 with a normal hoodie over the top
  18. that wont stop them
  19. There is a cover on the pillion
  20. removed the pillion pegs as I'll not be riding with a backpack.
  21. working
  22. After a 5+ hour drive from Hull to home, I decided that as the sun was out and warm I'd give my new Knox Urbane Pro 3 a trial ride. I did put a hoodie over the top, but still let plenty of air thru and kept my nice and cool. Well the little trial ride, turned into a 4 hours bimble down to Hastings for supper. Fighting the flying dustbins (seagulls) for my hard earned food was getting annoying, so stuffed it down my throat and set off for home. The ride back was a little on the chilly side.
  23. Fitted an EvoTech rad guard to the bike, just didnt feel right not having one on there.
  24. what husoi said, but I'd be looking for Essex/Herts centric based groups for rides. London based you're more likely to lose the bike
  25. First service being done on the XSR then a progressive bimble on Sunday to Arundel.
