He takes one look at and says ..... "Good job, can't have it flat , death trap when it gets wet and freezes , ..see how they have made sure the water runs off towards your soak away drains" "But £50 a meter " says I. "I charge £100 a meter " says my mate. ......

Drill 20mm hole in decking ... purchase a quantity of wheat or oats, farm supplies shop or horse supplies ... soak in neat anti freeze for 4 days ... with a funnel pour mixture under decking ... dogs will be fine .... no more rats ... or dead rats under the decking ... they will seek out water ... and die ...

I'm doing diesel gen set installations .... those huge shipping container sized diesel generators that are hidden in trading estates, waste land and behind trees that roar into life every time the wind drops and the windmills stop generating power ... yes .. your green power ... This one is in Mansfield .... there's one down Carr Lane near MSI / Montracon Dynax ...

Don't give up on it ... i did one of my flounce moments when it changed .... but it works well ... stick with it ..

Morning all .... Off to Plymouth this morning, ( about 0500hrs )Traction and Braking sander stuff for GWR Class 43 locos, then up to Exeter for the night, Class 150 air system upgrade meeting at 0800hrs then to Bristol for a Class 166 survey.... A nice run out on the mighty Himma.

I bought a second hand pair of these, size 12's, from a chap in Leeds ... £25 off the Bay of E's .... They are brill .... 2 winters in use .... top kit ...

OFFERS ,,, CAN DELIVER FOR SENSIBLE FUEL MONEY .. It's a project .... all the plastics are there seat and tank, headlamp and an engine rebuild 6 years ago, just bore and crank seals. Any monies received to be split between my Grandson and Cancer UK.

For similar reasons we've abandoned DCC and gone back to analogue .... makes things much simpler ....

We got to the top of the Col Du Tourmalet, 2115 meters high, and parked up ... A group of Brummie lads turned up on big BMW "Adventure " bikes and where clapping each other on the back and taking selfies by the top sign ... We'd cycled up ! ..... Want an adventure ... cycle ....

Cheque book motorcyclists .... there's a lot of them about ..... I do "oily rag" restorations to MZ 125 and 150's in much worse condition ... amazing what a wire brush in a drill and some rattle cans / Hammerite can achieve ... 8 of my oily rag MZ's are plying their trade around the country with happy owners. Todays scrap ... Tomorrows Treasure .... Girl number 2 on one I made earlier ......

This bike has been in the greenhouse for over 6 years. It was bought as a joint project for myself and my grandson ... but it was not to be ... he's busy with his 3d printer ... We have ALL the plastics, tank and seat but no paperwork. The engine was re built 6 years ago with a rebore and new crank seals. Drop me a line if you fancy taking on this winter project ..... Happy to swap for MZ 250 / 300 stuff ....
