  1. Bit disappointed that the flip up cover only hides a button which calls the authorities. It's 2023. Where's my missile launcher?
  2. The camera and bluetooth will be separate items. Helmets are one of those things you've got to try on. I must have tried half a dozen before I found one that fit just right. If the shop staff are experienced, they'll advise. My local guy won't sell you a helmet if he's not happy with how it fits you. Very kind gesture on your part

    Hi
  4. Many moons ago, we learned the Transportation Method. It was used to work out the most efficient way of doing multi drop deliveries. Put in, say, fifteen waypoints, and have the app calculate the optimal route between all of them. Particularly useful for Challenge 2023.
  5. And sum of us wiv very little - but they keep us around nevertheless
  6. The question to ask is "where is the danger coming from?". If there's a lane to your right, look right. If you're crossing a lane to your left, look left first.
  7. Hi
  8. Took a ride to Kelsall Traction Engine Rally and got thoroughly sunburned. The lawnmower riders wore helmets, but the classic bikes didn't bother . Seeing the way the grass cutting maniacs drove, that was more appropriate than you might think. Bikes leaving the arena.. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JeSzg2ufC1w
  9. At least you get a spare with Earpeace.
  10. Earpeace plugs plus a thin scull cap pulled over the ears.

  15. Happy Birthday! (would have dug out a funny giphy but it appears to be broken... Can't get the staff...)
  16. Bit like a telegram but faster.
  17. I did some work once for a tyre firm who had a vulcanising machine. It allowed them to do sidewall repairs. Not sure if it's still a thing but worth phoning round.
  18. I recall my dad once getting followed home by a motorcycle sitting inches from the back wing of his car. He directed some pointed advice out of his window ("learn how to ride that flaming thing!") and then found himself being followed and his plate being written down by the guy. An hour later, the biker, who happened to be a cop, phoned the house and was telling my dad to come in for an interview. He was being investigated for some driving offense. The old man told the cop on that he would be doing no such thing, that the guy was a danger on the roads, and to give him his name, badge number and the details of his chief. The whole thing went away after the superior officer was subjected to a very firm phone call. Never heard anything else about it, they probably didn't want the grief.
  19. Hi, You're almost there! Keep us posted.
  20. Big torque wrench, small torque wrench, sockets, spanners, allen keys, chain tool, breaker bar, wheel socket adapter and when all else fails.... hammer.
  21. Wasn't all this covered in the driving test? What value do they think they're adding?
  22. Happy Birthday!
