It's a bit hit and miss......I've had stuff from the States where sometimes I've had to pay it and sometimes not.....never paid it on stuff from China......I think that it's just luck of the draw whether it gets spotted or not.....

Welcome to TMBF mate. ........ When I learnt to ride there was no CBT......you just stuck L-plates on a bike up to 250cc and off you went.......admittedly the roads were slightly quieter back then...... Anyway......plot a short route near where you live, wait for the evening or very early morning when the traffic is a bit lighter, and give it a go......then gradually extend the route as your confidence grows......you'll be fine.....

As Joe says.....there's plenty of digital and electronic ones that could fit......be wary of the cheap Chinese ones though, I've seen some very "interesting" vids of them spinning in random ways......

For the cost of a rear paddock stand it makes sense to have one.......

Yeah.....pretty much covered by the others already.......but what sort of noise is the bike making?....It may be something is loose and is rattling at the rev's that you're holding it at?

That's a fair comment but what is beginning to get annoying is that in many cases like this the OP makes one post without reading the suggested requirements and then is never heard from again . Most of the advice given here is good advice . It's a simple mechanism that anyone ought to be able to understand if they made a little effort . I know what you're saying mate.....but some people do just make one post and we never hear from them again.....it's just the way it is unfortunately. Yeah, I learnt from books and mates......mainly because the Internet didn't exist back then...... I'm an engineer, so I have a natural aptitude for this sort of thing, but some people are not blessed with this skill.....but maybe with a bit of help they can develop the skills......A Haynes manual can only teach you so much.....

We were all Newbies with regards to bike maintenance and repairs once......what now seems obvious to us at one time wasn't. ......so let's just try to be helpful, eh?
