It was about half a mile from home, there is a tricky t-junction with limited visibility and a mirror. I looked in the mirror, nothing coming right, looked left and a couple of cars, but due to the angle I'd put my bike when I stopped it started to lean and my leg was out too far to stop it going past the point of no return (can't flat foot) - doesn't take much with my arthritic hands!! So I tried to put it down as gently as possible but couldn't stop the inevitable last drop All the cars just carried on past but one lorry driver stopped and picked it up for me (unsurprisingly he was also a biker!). I've got away with minimal damage again, a broken brake lever and a few exhaust scratches - that's all - phew Glad you are OK..... Once the bike gets past that point there's no holding it.......some junctions have really nasty cambers on them too which can catch you out. Cosmetic damage that shouldn't take too much to sort by the sounds....
