  1. What bike is that you have? hard to make out the badge
  2. My guess is they are more worried about keeping the whole thing peaceful. Even if the protestor is the nicest calmest man in the world he is going to provoke a reaction from the rest of the crowd. Seeing how quickly these sort of things have turned to riots over the last few years I can understand why for an occasion like this they are wanting to nip it in the bud asap
  3. This might be able to help you. Its the service manual for your bike. Should have what you need in there https://www.manualslib.com/manual/793090/Suzuki-Gs500e.html?page=1#manual
  4. @Mississippi Bullfrog The year before he was dressed as a clown and carrying an axe if that is any better?
  5. Would need to know your bike to be able to give you an actual torque setting but if it's just a cover then no reason not to just do it by feel.
  6. Get him to join this forum
  7. I'd be the same after finally finishing a 73 year apprenticeship
  8. They truly don't make them like her anymore. RIP
  9. Maybe take it a bit easier if you are needing a bypass!!
  10. Oh well, I won't buy one then
  11. How much with a Forum discount?
  12. Just googled and seen your bike is a 2 stroke. That's why it doesn't have a window to check. Somewhere on the bike, probably under the seat will be where you fill it with 2 stroke oil. I would look around and under there to see if that's where it's leaking I'll let someone with more experience with 2 strokes chime in as it's a bit out of my wheelhouse

They are just carrying on a long tradition............
  14. Car passed its MOT today with no problems Second time in a row so I'm very happy, had convinced myself it would fail on rear tyres. They have plenty of tread but have a few age cracks on the walls. Saw a good deal for 4 goodyear tyres including fitting at home for £210 which I had planned on doing. Almost disappointed now I don't need to do it
  15. Definitely sounds like some kind of scam to me. Why wouldn't it be possible to go again a different day if they felt you weren't wearing the correct attire? They certainly wouldn't of heard the last from me if they'd taken my £100 and provided nothing for it!
  16. Hopefully this will help out. Full details to be announced on Thursday. https://news.sky.com/story/cost-of-living-truss-putting-finishing-touches-on-plan-to-freeze-energy-prices-and-pay-back-difference-over-decades-12691063 For those who can't be bothered clicking, in a nutshell energy prices won't be going up in October as Government is stepping in
  17. I'd try and find where the leak is coming from then you can work out how expensive it's going to be! As an example I had a leak on my bike once and it turned out just to be a torn o-ring on the oil filter cover. I must of caught it when putting the cover back on. Nice cheap and easy fix. Another thought is whats the oil level like? wondering if its been overfilled.

Thought I'd get in early to be honest the only politician I've ever felt like voting for was Obama and obviously I couldn't do that I quite like Zelenskyy as well. Think it's just British politicians I can't stand!!
  19. @Blackholesun Mine usually shows around 90p by the time I get up in the morning!!
  20. Here's to my last night before the family come back
  21. @Ian Frog That must be in the sequel. First one was more Dallas in Debbie
  22. I watched a film called Road to Paloma with Jason Momoa. He plays a biker running from the law. Nothing of interest happens for 90 minutes. It's just monotonous all the way through. If anyone tells me they have watched and enjoyed this film I will abuse my mod powers and mess with their account as they are clearly lying and need to be taught a lesson
  23. Talking to my boss at the shop and he said he's not worried yet as we are on a fixed rate until April but come then he's no idea what's going to happen if things don't calm down. When Utility bills and product costs are doubling or more where is the money to pay for that going to come from?
  24. But it's a classic
  25. You will get hundreds of different opinions on this I have always been a fan of gear oil or chainsaw oil. Its cheap and plentiful. Use a small paintbrush to apply
