  1. Hi, I changed my exhaust removing the cat. Emissions are not currently part of the MOT just excessive noise in the ear of the tester. Beware though because the short pipes are very very noisy and will pop and bang. Inform your insurance of any changes and you'll be covered, it will cost you a little bit more for a cosmetic exhaust change. Try a dedicated forum like fz07.org. Its American based so sorry about that but loads of stuff on there.
  2. Sintered pads give you more bite. More wear of the disc but a price worth paying. How the hell did it pass an MOT?
  3. Enjoy! I'll watch out for you on the telly..
  4. That's what forums are for..
  5. Nice job! Looks like a council house shed key from the 60's where every 5th or 6th house had the same key.
  6. Hi, welcome. First off they look pretty cool for a scooter and very nickable l would of thought, so your insurance company will want to cover that. Second, if you change anything and don't notify your insurance your policy becomes invalid. If anything happens and you need to claim they won't pay out plus they put a mark against you and make it more expensive down the line. An awful lot of changes are covered nowadays as standard, you'll have to check your policy. l declare all of mine and it's not a lot more.
  7. Scotland has the largest spread for sure 280 odd miles between the furthest places. The East Midlands one has a 200 mile distance between furthest places. The South West one is about 200 miles.
  8. Just having a look at the map of tags and l have to ask, since when has a place south of Reading been in the midlands?
  9. The weather looks pretty good.
  10. Yeah, as above get both legs done together. The majority of the cost is in the labour. You could take the fork legs out yourself to save a bit of cash, but if you are unsure you'll just have to get your hand in your pocket.
  11. Never sure whether people are joking or not when they go to the post office to tax their vehicles. It's so much easier online.
  12. Choose a school with MT07's you'll love em.
  13. That's pretty tight tolerances I hope it fits ok. The motorhomefun site always has plenty to say on the price of batteries and which is best. We just chuck it all in and go EHU when we get there!
  14. I wouldn't want to be cleaning it, be a nightmare getting into all those nooks and crannies. I know I'm old but the welding looks like it's been done by an apprentice. Does have a bit of charm though.
  15. Taking shape nicely that. I hope what ever you are putting it into is as square as that.
  16. Nothing wrong with a Lidl.. Or as we like to call it, L'deli
  17. Hi, when l hear Kawasaki 80 l always think of the AR and the KX. Have you tried getting the part numbers and seeing if they are compatible? Also the 110?
  18. Sorry l couldn't be any more specific.
  19. Yeah l did a quick search and loads came up. I doubt you'll find any specifically for your model, they are a generic item. Try the larger dealers like Wemoto and SBS for a more trusted product. Avoid the Chinese rubbish on eBay.
  20. Back this coming weekend from Silverstone. Live on ITV4. Get your changes in if you are gonna make any. Never too late we're only half way through.
  21. Hi, welcome. Just search footpeg lowering kit. Loads out there. Good luck.
  22. Hi, Ebay can be your friend here. Just play around with your searches, spares or repair, project, ending soonest, nearest to you. Obviously there are a lot of nightmares to stay away from but it can give you an idea of rough prices, see what things are fetching etc. Lots of tat but you may see something cheap enough to have a play with. Good luck.
  23. Hi, welcome to the forum.
  24. A glorious day for motorcycling today. Picked up Rockingham Castle tag and whilst out that way the Hungry Hog Cafe. A few bikes there, mostly Harleys.
